Yes, more stable. Coverage has improved. But very slow.

For comparison purposes.
Speedtest - Download / Upload, Ping

TPG - 6.91 Mbps / 5.66 Mbps 378ms <--- This line no typo :s13:
Singtel - 199 Mbps / 60 Mbps 19ms

where was the test conducted?

you can't use one test at one location to generalise.

Yes exactly, plus that ping seems to be using SingTel as test server.

TPG Telecom don't have peering with STIX, probably because of cost issue. The traffic has to go to other countries before it came back.

Also, data speed doesn't dictate everything. It can show a bottleneck if your download or upload size is huge (please use fixed broadband if you do that everyday, your phone and wallet will thank you), but in day to day operations, it's not so much.

Alas, I realized it is not a fair comparison because for the Singtel test, I am using a higher spec'ed phone. :s13:

Anyway, some additional data for TPG.

Singtel 15.2 / 4.89 / 375ms
ViewQ 8.69 / 7.36 / 18ms
NewMedia 5.10 / 6.66 / 18ms
MyRepublic 7.34 / 7.43 / 16ms
SingTel 5.13 / 4.52 / 379ms
Starhub 8.75 / 3.30 / 18ms

This speed for TPG already considered good liao. I am on myRepublic M1 network for my primary line and the speeds are even slower than this, for once TPG is more stable and faster in some areas than M1. Who knew? :s22:

Posted from PCWX using Redmi Note 8 Pro Ocean Blue

Could it be myRepublic never buy enough from m1?
Anyway, it is waste of 4G.

IMHO.
Last time, everywhere I go, if I remember, I will test TPG.
My conclusion is that TPG is like my Singtel 3G speed if not slower.

It doesn't matter where. What is most important is availability.
Previously, can't even rely on TPG to do safe-entry in basement carpark.:s13:
Of course, now gradually improved.

Thanks for the updated coverage review. But TPG regardless prepaid or postpaid still have to collect from their office, not delivery option right?

I heard there's option for delivery if you sign up 50GB SIM Only plan through thier TPG SG app. Never tried before though.

It seems that TPG is using the "everyday low price" approach to try to establish a loyal customer base, considering TPG is a new entrant in the telecommunications industry.

So far, TPG only have mobile plans.

I do not know if TPG has the permission to offer land lines and home broadband.

But if TPG can offer packages that bundle land lines, home broadband and mobile plans together, this will help to truly develop loyal customers, especially working adults who just got their flat and want to set up land line and home broadband for their new home. :)

You are thinking too much. They don’t even have a proper team to handle the mobile subscribers

Postpaid 50GB seems fine for me. I heard about complains on Prepaid though for now.

Damn....was gonna thinking of getting that as a 2nd sim but not on a monthly basis. Maybe a few months later I need that high volume data. Since if we compared it to other prepaid card in SG.
