Well, there's another reason: to maintain healthy market competition. Obviously the mobile carriers have incentives to "lock in" their customers as best they can. Including their deceased customers.I think $500 is a more practical limit....
S$500 is far too high for both objectives (death and competition), in my view. Peg the wallet cap to some reasonable maximum number of base plan months, and you probably have a good number.
