i think the difference is .... there is nothing stopping the telco from increase price per plan

u can have 100 200 in wallet .... but no guarantee the plan stays at $5 in 2027 2028
i don't think u can say "lock-in $5 for next couple years"

To each his own whether to commit long term to a telco with existing low price plan. Indeed if there is consolidation, we will never know how it will change the mobile industry environment. But IMDA will make sure there is no drastic adjustment in the price plan in the near term, that was why Simba said if it buy over M1, $10-$12 ($5-$6 considered 1-for-1 offer) plan will remain for the 1st 2 year.

Of course it’s ur money. Make or break is ur issue. Others are just advising to be prudent.

Many scams nowadays, not saying SIMBA is a scam, but someone may use it to scam. Even a public listed company can go bust all of a sudden. Just be prudent.

Indeed, to each his own.

No guarantee that you can continue to use credits to make full payment for the monthly subscription.

Telco can come out next month and say credits can only be used to pay for half of your subscription.

To each his own, we decide ourselves to be or not to be. 😉

So their competitor right has launched 8 months rollover data.

Simba made a good decision to allow rollover data even for roaming data too
I think SIMBA’s rollover data policies will work better for most people. Rollover data is most valuable for the small allotments that are only occasionally tapped — tapped a couple or few times a year, for example. And for most people those are the global data allotments.

I read the following from the website:
*For Seniors and SuperRoam10: Brunei, Cambodia, India, Japan, Laos, Macau, Myanmar, Philippines are included in the Global (60+ countries Roaming)
I am on a Seniors Plan, does it mean that I will have 3GB when I roam in Japan? Anybody tried? Is that enough for casual usage?
