I have the $10 per month plan and also the $5 per month Senior plan. Using the $5 senior sim in my s21ultra, speed inside house cannot make it but the $10 plan ok. Wondering if they able to control how one plan can surf better than the other.

Disabled band 8 and use band 40 also no difference. Zzz

Just did a side by side test at same room inside my house.
$10 plan inside redmi 9 dl 7.1Mbps and ul 1.4Mbps. $5 sim inside s21u first sim slot dl speed only 3.9 ul 0.7

Going to throw away this senior plan, not going to recharge it.
IMHO.
TPG is very much dependent on location.

Is the test the same band?

Never swap that $5 sim into redmi 9 but I did put the $5 into xiaomi note 6 pro, apple 6s and all are the same, cmi results. Impossible redmi 9 so good. And I know mine is a real s21u.

Never checked the band but both phones side by side in my room. Also, it won't matters since I already did try to use band 40 on the senior plan and result as bad as band 8.

Upgraded to iOS15, now cannot top up TGP prepaid. Got the error "Safari cannot open the page. The error was: "Not allowed to use restricted network port". The same problem on Chrome, slightly different message but all related to restricted network port.

It seems that https://www.tpgmobile.sg/preaccount is redirected to http://novus.tpgmobile.sg:10080/pre.

Is there any other way of TGP prepaid top up instead of this problematic link?

All Android devices with Google services on Android 11 with March 2021 security patch or later should support TPG VoLTE by default. It got added into Android's vendor implementation for that security patch level.
Pixel 4a on september patch still without volte.

How long does the port in process take?

Apparently it's not seamless, it's been an hour and my tpg SIM is still stuck at "no service"

APN seems correct
Can't login/activate via their app.

Is it up yet? Did you restart the phone after setting the APN? I'd give it 2 or 3 hours, so it should be up by now.

I think your service only start when you receive an email TPG that the port over has completed.

Check your email spam folder. Mine went into the spam folder.

You should receive an email from tpg of it is successfully ported in.

Check your email spam folder. Mine went into the spam folder.

I received an email with the following:

"Your port-in request is successful and your 50GB SIM Only Plan is activated."

Does that count?

Dropped them an email, but I guess I have to drop by their orchard central outlet if this is not resolve. Using this for my work, so it's a big hassle.

TPG prepaid requires the SIM card to be inside the phone.

Is the Prepaid SIM inside, and use mobile data (on TPG LTE) to access?
