So TPG is using Huawei, some people will have a problem there.
Are Singtel, Starhub, M1 also on Huawei, anyone know?

Why not get a nicer number from another telco then port in to TPG? Plenty at GOMO and GIGA. I assume MAXX will also have a decent selection since they're trying to attract customers.Still camping for a nicer number then will sign up TPG for a supplementary line for work

I think there aren't many nice numbers left for TPG.Didn't see anything about them getting allocated new number blocks, so they are reusing what they have left.
Just check their terms and conditions, and time your billing cycles. They all do not refund unused portions. Some have minimum terms of contract (for some MVNOs, 3 months).silly me, this didnt cross my mind! haha
ok, say now i sign up for Giga. Giga sends me their simcard, i use for 1month, port over to TPG. TPG will send me a simcard too right? I wonder what are the cost behind all these. As I am currently using Giga as my primary, i remember there was no delivery fee or additional cost for the delivery. Not to sure about porting over to TPG...

I don't know about current ones, but they were 86-89 iirc. And because a lot of trial users gave up their lines, a lot of them went back to be reused.mind if i ask, what are number prefixes for TPG?

Many nicer numbers were ported out or retained. I know I ported mine out.88ABBACB
tpg uses volteTo answer my own question. haha
I used the TPG app to register for new line on Monday night, the simcard should have been delivered to my mailbox on Wednesday late noon, thus this morning (Thursday) I saw it among the letters. Pretty fast (free i suppose?) actually, though would have appreciate if there can be notifications telling me to track...
This is the second time I signed for TPG line. The first was the initial period when it was free, and I cancelled the line when the payment started. I was using old Redmi Note 4 with it, no issues at all. Now this new simcard I am using on an old Vivo 1820 smartphone on the newly received TPG simcard, but i noticed I cannot make voicecall directly, and I have to use the TPG 4G voice app. is this normal??? I didnt have this issue when I was using the free line on Redmi Note 4...
