Auto deduct debit/credit cardFor sim only plan monthly billing.
Do we need to make payment manually or will they deduct from our credit card automatically?
Yes. Have been doing that always.TPG prepaid requires the SIM card to be inside the phone.
Is the Prepaid SIM inside, and use mobile data (on TPG LTE) to access?
I guess you might have to hotspot to another client and try there, hopefully can.Yes. Have been doing that always.
I think it is iOS15 that upgraded the security features to prevent restricted ports.
Yes, I use another iPhone with iOS 14.8. It works. But more iPhone, especially the new ones will comes with iOS15.I guess you might have to hotspot to another client and try there, hopefully can.
Please see the details below for your Prepaid MyAccount portal.
- Ensure that your TPG Prepaid SIM is inserted on the device you will use to access the MyAccount portal link
- Also, your TPG Prepaid SIM is set as the priority for mobile data on your device
- Then, access the Prepaid MyAccount Portal
- The prepaid portal link is best accessible using the browers: Opera / Samsung / IE / Edge / UC browser / Adblock browser

Please see general guidelines in accessing the link using your Prepaid SIM card.
1) Prepaid link can only support English-based http redirection. If the language setting on phone is non-English this page cannot load. The reason there is a validation in the network level for this English-based link to be accessed.
2) Only prepaid cards can access this link. If the customer holds a non-prepaid card the link shall not be accessible as the above-mentioned network-based validation shall kick in for the safety net of design
3) If the customer holds a dual sim, the data and APN should be set to use the TPG prepaid card, else the link will not be accessible especially if data clashes with the TPG sim only plan sim card or with any other operator's sim card.
4) The link is indeed confirmed stable and no issues are observed if access is done thru prepaid sim as per our checks and simulations. No intermittent issues at backend or at server
5) Ensure good and a strong network signal.
Let us know should you require further assistance.

I wrote to TPG support. Got a disappointed reply. Didn't address the iPhone with iOS 15 problem. Instead direct me to use the following browsers. Can you imagine Safari and Chrome not supported/recommended?
Replying this Hotspot from a $5 plan. SIM card in Galaxy Note 5 and replying from iPhone 7.Recently gotten this TPG $5/mth plan for my parents.
When they tried to use hotspot to link to their tablet, it seems to say must seek operator assistance to enable the function.
so this plan does not allow tethering? Anyone can advice? TIA

So long as your TPG SIM card in the phone is already set up and has the TPG network for normal usage, just need to turn on Hotspot. From the tablet (as in the parents' case), only have to turn on WiFi and detect the said phone then key in the password which can be found in the Hotspot option of the phone.Iirc need key in the apn
