how is their coverage now? all tunnels and MRT underground covered? Thanks
In my own experience NEL Potong Pasir and Woodleigh area sometimes the signal drops. Other than that all ok. I travel regularly on NEL, CCL, and the west to central part of EWL.

Your $10 should still be there. You tried to SMS <TPG> to 1218 to check your account balance.

According to TPG SIMBA staff, the prepaid plan renewal/recharge is just top up your account balance and TPG SIMBA will deduct the amount from your account balance 10 days before your 30-day cycle end date (only one time). If your account balance does not have sufficient money during deduction, TPG SIMBA will disconnect your SIM after X number of days after the 30-day cycle end date. You will have to go down to one of their Service Centres to re-activate manually if you wish to retain the number.
You mean if the TPG Prepaid last top up was done 3 months ago.
Then now if want to top up need to go TPG service centre to enable the prepaid line??

You may want to check with TPG SIMBA for Prepaid SIM which "expired" 3 months ago.

There is at most 30 days grace period. This is stated in the Critical Information Summary very clearly.
3 months probably you're alr fully booted out from the network. Get new number.

During the period when TPG was offering FREE trial SIM -- I used an old (Korean version) Samsung Note 4 w/ the TPG SIM.
(Samsung Note 4 is also an old 2014 model phone)

The (Korean) Samsung Note 4 model I used -- only supports LTE band 8 but doesn't support LTE band 40.

Yet on the old Samsung Note 4, I was able to connect to the TPG mobile network & use mobile data + send/receive SMS.
Hi my relative has a spare Samsung Note 5 - do u think TPG SIM can work wif this device?

Anyone on TPG SIMBA experiences that your phone will show "No Service" quite randomly?

I tried both both options under Network Selection also encountered "No Service" randomly.
  1. Automatic
  2. Select SIMBA manually
Which phone are u using?

Encountered the same problem when swapping back in the TPG card after holiday trip.
Was working fine but next day shows "No Service".
Removed the SIM card, used cloth to clean the metal contacts, reinserted the SIM card and it seemed to solve the problem.

Was in Gold Coast, managed to use the free 1GB roaming that comes free with TPG to set up and activate new purchased local SIM card on another phone - the speed was extremely slow, but it works.

So in my case, it was sufficient for Waze navigation to mall to purchase local SIM cards, and access the telco's website to activate the SIM, and download the telco's app.

Simba signal autooff issue originally happened when I'm still using Mi Max 3. And now on my other phone. Not sure if really the SIM card having this issue. I think I will try to get a new SIM when I'm free

This is the issue that I mentioned previously, quite repeatable when coming out from the lift or at CCL towards Botanic gardens.... either one Telco went off it will affecting the other one....my Sim 1 is TPG, SIM 2 is Vivifi...

Not sure if getting the new TPG SIM card will get rid of it🤷🤔
