The error is topup failed. For simba postpaid topup through qoo10, is it a must to topup on the exact day on which the plan is renewed or we need to topup 2-3 days before expiry date and then do a manual plan renew in the app.

Postpaid top up goes to a wallet. Each month, they will deduct the subscription from the wallet if there is sufficient balance, if not will charge to the linked credit card. SIMBA actually charges 5 days before the cycle date, so you need to top up at least 6 days before.

Please be informed that your port-in request was rejected by your current service provider due to ID Mismatch, as the details submitted to SIMBA do not match your current service provider.

just receieve this though. unsure why is this happening. The number is under the same name.

Which telco are you coming from? I had that issue with Giga, just ask SIMBA to trigger the port again, it should work. I also went to complain to Giga’s online chat telling them to release my number, not sure if that helped.

The list of supported phones on SIMBA 5G is absolutely tiny, make sure you do your research first.

okay, but the other plans are "5G supported" right? anyway my spare phone is very mainstream so it should be supported (let me check)

An unsuccessful renewal sms was sent to me, as my previous credit card date expired. So I went into the app, and do a manual renewal. But it shows that I have to put $10 into the account balance. I have since also updated my new credit card detail.

My question is, will there be any issue with my renewal, and whether the $10 account balance will be used?

Based on this (https://support.simba.sg/hc/en-us/articles/4645374547097-How-am-I-billed-for-my-mobile-service-), it seems like you should be fine, but I'm wondering.

How am I billed for my mobile service?

You can view your invoices via SIMBA My Account or My SIMBA App. Plan renewal will be billed on Day 26 (4 days before the end of the cycle). The deduction will be based on this order (where applicable):
  1. 1. Account Balance
  2. 2. Credit Card / Debit Card / GIRO
You will only have access to Basic Data Services if plan renewal is unsuccessful.

Does SIMBA have voice mail services? Can't seem to find anything about it on their website?

Just ported-in my other number to SIMBA. Super fast again! All were done within 8 hours from signed-up online, sim card collection to port-in completes. Amazing indeed! :giggle:

30-01-2023:
1600 hrs: Signed-up SIMBA online with port-in.
1700 hrs: Self collected the new sim card with immediate sim card activation over the counter.
2300 hrs: Current telco line terminated.
2354 hrs: Port-in to SIMBA completed with Roaming ready right after that.

Recently, I noticed that certain places will get stuck, without signal or very low signal, till not able to browse internet. This is not happen early of previously. I am not the only one.

I am wondering is SIMBA not able to cope with the customer expansion. Is any brother here feel the same?
