If wallet have $3.47 and your monthly is $10, it will charge to your CC $10 and your $3.47 will sit there until you decide to use it by making overseas call or exceed your overseas roaming

Then,

If my monthly plan is $10 and I have registered my CC as default payment for Monthly fee and at the same time I have $10 in my Wallet.

So, the Monthly plan fee deduction should by-pass the $10 in the Wallet and deducts from my registered CC first?

No, wallet 1st. If your $10 even drop 1 cent to $9.99 then good luck finishing up your $9.99 in your wallet.

Err..! I see.

Okay, Now I have got $10 in my Wallet and registered CC for my Monthly plan is $10. Guess that my next Monthly plan bill will use that $10 in my Wallet first.

Never mind lah. After the next bill. I will just top up $9.99 to my Wallet to prevent deduction form my Wallet for the $10 Monthly plan fee so that it will deduct from my CC instead and that the $9.99 in my Wallet is reserved for PPU!

Thanks.

Heng I have not signed up for a 2nd ISP. Can try this, probably buggy similar to the initial mobile network launch.
May not be. Unlike mobile network, this does not require a lot of infrastructure setup. All residential plans from all ISPs run off the same Netlink Trust fiber broadband.

Can only top up in pre-set amounts ($5, $10, $20), not any amount you wish.

You can top up $5 bah. That will still meet your objective of having balance for pay-per-use & subscription charged to your card.

Having said that, I think a lot of people here use shopee/qoo10 to top up, using the various vouchers that the platform gives. Eg, i typically use shopee & the $1 off $10 voucher so my subscription is effectively $9 per month.

Port in number that's not registered to you? Like for example, currently the line is under your wife, but transfer over to your name WITH authorization?

If yes, see pm, we discuss through there. Thanks!

Oh ya! You are right. A fixed pre-set top up value only!

Well, top up $5 before leaving SG. Then, after roaming data usage started / PPU started in foreign country, I can top up another $5 again to make a non-fixed $10 Wallet balance as time goes on.

That way, my $10 monthly plan fee will always be channeled to my registered CC. Thanks.
