Oh it's prepaid ah.o.o" prepaid payment type .. skip for me
This post is for 17 November 2023: Welcome back to SIMBA, Mr Kelvin Porter. In fact, I wanted to port back to ZYM but after much thinking!
Fk ya! Why don't I give the $10 Heya a try as it's "by SingTel" and not "leased from SingTel" and that it has VoLTE!
Almost 12 hours now. I'm pretty impressed by the data speed and coverage of Heya! It's surely better than ZYM as far as 4G /LTE is concerned!
Okay. Let me stop here. It's a SIMBA thread afterall. I shall respect SIMBA subscribers.
Cheers all!![]()

IMHO.If can hit 150mbps already considered good. Going forward, if more and more users set their phones to auto log onto 5G, most likely their 5G will get congested. End up 4G might even be faster. Maybe early in the morning can do a speed test when no one using the network, so that will probably be a good gauge of the maximum capacity and speed in certain locations.
Just for an update, for my side at Redhill, at 4G+ with a full 5-bar connection, I only can get 20mbps in the middle of the night. Daytime is around 10 to 15mbps. So it seems that Simba already capped the speed by locations or base stations.
IMHO.I feel that my SIMBA data transfers are not as fast as 2-3 years ago. I'm not sure if it is just my K50 Ultra handphone or SIMBA bandwidth is getting crowded.

5G at my place is double what I had for 4G+, both with full signals. So I get only 40Mbps for download. I have a feeling they put brakes on the speed limit depending on locations.IMHO.
A bit of a challenge - no 5G in the wee hours of the moring.![]()

Consistently 1.06Mbps ? What is affected when you see this speed? The phone or app usable or unusable ?is there a 30D min period before can cancel TPG ?
i have completed my port in and i can usually get around 80Mbps but in my office at changi area, i am only getting 1.06 Mbps speeds now ....
Does her phone support VoLTE? If yes, did you enable VoLTE on her phone? Oppo has a funny way to enable VoLTE. It uses some codes IIRC.
May I know what code to enable the volte for oppo.I got mixed answer when googling about whether it supports VoLTE but I do see some VoLTE related option when I use the code.
It's fine if she has to use the voice App but the app keeps going offline after a period of time, I already disable battery optimization for the app liao so it doesn't get terminated.
I use OPPO...wasn't aware there was a code for VoLTE. I didn't use any code to enable VoLTE, just enabled it in the Settings.May I know what code to enable the volte for oppo.
Coz when the phone on M1, I can see the volte. But switch over to Simba, volte setting gone
