Let's say I activate the e-SIM on my phone first, then I pay another $5 to get the existing plan on my watch. Would it work this way? Like sharing of the the plan data, etc
Once u change back to your phone u have to pay another $5 again I believe. It only work on one device at one time, it’s not sharing

I am not sure about Simba but I THINK Simba does not have the function where you can share the same mobile number on your mobile and watch. They MAY not be able to provide the subscription for the watch alone even you need a new mobile number.

I THINK M1 used to have multi sim sharing the same number and you may try to check with them for your watch to use the same mobile number or else you may need a new mobile number for the LTE function.

You could also check with Singtel as well.

I have also acquired a gw6c recently but I don't use the LTE function and I notice there is a subscription for mobile plan for the watch.

I am looking forward to port over to SIMBA but I have a question to ask as I tried searching the thread and not sure if it has been asked before.

If I opt for the e-SIM, can it be used on 2 different devices which is phone and smartwatch?

Cos I'm thinking if I leave my phone at home, at least my smartwatch still able to receive calls, notifications without relying on bluetooth when I go for a run. I'm using Samsung phone and smartwatch btw.

SIMBA FAQs didn't really specify. I know M1 has Multi-SIM and these come at additional cost per month so I'm wondering if the above scenario will work or not.
Assuming its an Apple Watch, only big 3 provides numbersharing.

Singtel NumberShare Apple Watch
Singtel NumbeShare Galaxy Watch

Starhub NumberShare

M1 NumberShare

SIMBA only supports Google Watch & Huawei Watch (Data Only)
SIMBA eSIM supported Handsets (updated as of 12 Oct 2023)

New status takes time to propagate.

Hi,
I'm trying to understand the Simba plans. Does it mean I can change my plans every 30 days? Is there a charge for each change. For the Superroam Max, it's 100GB, 10GB Intl Roaming. I went into the table & there are 4 groups of the countries covered. Does it mean I can use up this 10GB in these 4 groups of countries & still pay only $25 for 30 days?

No charges, as per T&C, Day 1 - 25 changeable, so yes, can keep changing as and when required.
i.e. 10GB Roaming on SR Max used up, pay again for full 10GB of roaming @ $25 and cycle refresh again on the new payment date made.
https://account.simba.sg/
  1. SIMBA subscribers are eligible to Change Plan on Days 1 to 25 of the plan cycle with a valid renewal. Suspended Plans are not eligible to Change Plan until the Plan is renewed.
  2. Subscribers are required to make full payment for the new plan. Once Change Plan is successful, the new plan will begin instantly. Standard Terms and Conditions of new plan apply. Refer to Critical Information Summary of SIMBA plans.
  3. Once the new plan is activated, the original plan will be terminated and there will be no refund of unused balance. Billing account ID and Wallet Balance of the original Plan remained unchanged.
  4. *Subscribers must be at least 60 years of age for change of plan to Seniors Go Digital.
  5. Available online only.

No, only for Group A.
https://simba.sg/roaming
SIMBA SuperRoam Max comes with 10GB roaming data to Group A Destinations and in-flight roaming (subject to changes). Thereafter, excess data will be charged at $4/GB (chargeable in blocks of 10MB).
• For destinations beyond Group A, you can access roaming data via Pay-Per-Use rates, charges start from $6.00 per GB and is calculated per 10MB used.

For awareness, for those whose elderly parents using senior plan, please top up the account wallet only if necessary. What happened was my late dad passed on with monies inside his simba account wallet.
I requested either to transfer his account wallet monies to my simba account wallet or
allows me to take over my late dad's account with my hp number replacing my late dad's number. Both requests declined.
The staff counter proposed I continue using my late dad's number with his pioneer gen kakis calling same number to me or terminate the account and donate whatever monies inside simba wallet to simba.

This is bad service. They should just have refunded the balance.
