If I upgrade from the $10 to $25 plan on 14 June (today), then downgrade back on 9 July (25 days after) online, can I confirm:
  1. Subscription fees are still deducted from my original wallet balance by default
  2. In-flight and overseas data roaming allowances are automatically updated
  3. I do not need to activate the in-flight and overseas data roaming function
Thanks!

Each time u switch plan, u will need to pay by credit card or pay now. Wallet will only be used for renewal or extra data deductions.

You are the odd one have issues.. Don't give sweeping statement maybe your handset issue or settings on the mobile.. Did you wait 48hrs before travelling ?

I dont think handset have problem. I got my sim 3 weeks back (esim) messaged 1218 to confirm i am roam ready before travelling. Location might be the issue. I am not in a major city either way simba said country roaming.

@tohchr Thanks! Could I confirm the roaming data allowance is automatically updated, and I don't need to activate data roaming after changing plan?

Just be patience with them while they update their app. You already seen the response as 5GB. Don't get so worried you see 2GB. Log into their Web portal, you should also see 5Gb.
I used up my 2G and cannot use the other 3G after I upgrade. Strange.

Currently on Sim-Only 100GB. Planning to travel Australia for about a week and was thinking to "interim upgrade" to either SuperRoam 50GB (30D) or SuperRoam Max.

Anyone tried this before? Do I need to change my sim card or I just need to make the changes via the app?

or.. should I separately buy a esim plan just for my trip? Thanks!

Plan change no need change sim card.

You change change plan, but take note only from Day 1 to Day 25 of your billing cycle. Once you change your plan on say Day 10 of your billing cycle, you will lose all the remaining days allowances and the money you have paid for the month. Your new plan will take effect immediately.

Then also take note, you will also need to switch back if you need to revert to the 100GB plan.

You need to change your plan here prior. You can also check the day of your billing cycle on the same link.

As @Jurong640 mentioned, you will lose the remaining days paid for your current billing cycle, and your new plan takes effect immediately.

As @tohchr mentioned, you also don't need to activate data roaming again after changing plan. SMS 3 to 1218 to confirm.
