My authorized dealer informed me its shop is under the IT Show 1-for-1 promo though it was not listed. By 29/03/25, no bonus credit came in. So I contacted Simba appealing the case, Simba outrightly rejected the request indicating only selected Service Centres were qualified for the Promo. As of 01/04/25, I received the bonus credit! So as mentioned, authorized dealer really can be trusted especially when they have their own regular customers.

It my area Sembawang Simba has improvement. Last time I get regular speed dl 30Mbps ul 5Mbps . Last week onwards it become dl 50Mbps ul 5Mbps. Also constant it 5G connections. Last time on off switch between 4G 5G signal .

The 5G is good, but their 4G is still quite slow. haha.

My area in Yishun also improved a lot. And to add on, I was having issue with a certain app watching all the free channels. I realized the problem was lacked of IPV6 while using Singtel fibre (Wifi connected). I turn off wifi and watch using SIMBA, instantly the video started! SIMBA data also support IPV6!

Same here...

I was away overseas for a few days & when I got home today, noticed my mobile is receiving 5G...all the time was 4G & in some places of my home 4G can't make it.

Now with 5G I'm getting 40 to 50 Mbps (vs 4G of less than 10 Mbps) - not bad lah.

Off peak eg middle of night speed dl can goes up to 100Mbps dl 5G connect at Sembawang. This good speed only happens location depending.

I've been in China since they've introduced the APAC roaming allowance. Just saw from the app that I have used like 0.27GB of APAC data allowance. But I have not been anywhere but China!

Therefore an interesting thought. If I set my VPN to Malaysia or Singapore, will it be using my Local data allowance?

I'm pretty sure data roaming is based on my physical location and not VPN. But puzzled why my allowance for APAC is deducted!

SIMBA Supports has suggested to install so called; a Picocell device which will be attached to my M1 BB to enhanced the strength of SIMBA cell signal at my house on the 10th April.

Let me see how it goes...

Does 8 offer free VOLTE calls to/from any Singapore number?

The main reason I'm on Simba is that I can receive calls from Singapore numbers for free wherever in the world I am!

even when you use vowifi, it's still very bad at home? What about internet speeds?

Looks like Simba really knows you well, have to invest in this Harry Porter. If you get the device, get good connection, can help to advertise.

I think if SIMBA flips my skirt, simba knows my amazing port out history with them lol...

I have never used vowifi. So, I don't bother.

I will report the effectiveness of that Picocell here after the installation on the 10th April.

Some here saying their speeds at 50mbps? My Eight max only 40mbps.
