On the day of the announcement of the data leak, before the news report, we already received scam call that knows we are Simba subscriber, our name. The scammer said we sign up for the new iPhone and something something. Their English no good, like local ahbeng or jhk English.
Cannot make up what they were trying to say .

Sent '2' to 1218 but no response - no SMS received about remaining quota for the current bill cycle.

Anybody also got this issue?

Is it that simba changed payment implement do not auto deduct next mobile plan subscription fee from wallet balance 4 days before cycle renewal? Received email with the invoice number for next month. Using gmail, it showed a pay bill button.


Different from last month. Last month was received plan has been renewed 4 days from next month renewal date, the received receipt ref 3 days from next month renewal date.

Did SIMBA changed their email address and format for the mobile service receipt notification email?

Normally will receive email few days before the new cycle about payment deduction and the new cycle period from when to when etc..

Thought was a scam initially when I received the email this month since they sent with a different email address.. the info also not as complete as previously, a lot of link for u to click if u want to see more which makes me uncomfortable and I’m on mobile, so I just delete the mail..

Feels like a downgrade compared to last time or are they driving more traffic to their app .. Isn’t it good to just show everything, those don’t want to see can just trash or perm block the email even.. make ppl click here click there, later click until some scam then ho seh la..

I also do not dare to click on the email url. Login to account from the simba website, only can find up to previous month, cannot find the lastest invoice in the email.

However checked with 1218, money had been deducted from wallet.

My family member's line supposed to deduct on 25/9 from the wallet up to now still no deduction. Worry the line may just get cut off. The wallet still has credit. Damn messy.

Installed and login to the new app. It shows paid beside the new invoice stated in the email, with next billing cycle dates.

The invoice url seem to match the url in the email. Downloaded it from the app, inside shows amount due. Maybe because i paid by paynow when i sign up the line. The preferred card show pending.

So confusing now compared to in the past sms notifications about money deducted from wallet for next month renewal The followed by email notifications about the renewal and receipt.
