Don't think it's HSBC card problem. I read somewhere Visa cards expiring before 04/2020 won't be able to be used for transit

I successfully converted my 2 HSBC debit cards at GTM to bank card. No issues.

Used it yesterday. Noticed that the total accumulated for yesterday's trip only show as hold amount today. I was initially wondering whether debit cards will be per charge but seems it is charged same as visa credit card. The 0.10 for registration of SimplyGo also on hold.

Quite impressed with SimplyGo. I added my debit card to Simplygo last night. The trips that I made during the day showed up. Was expecting that they show only trips after adding the card.

BTW this means government (LTA) can monitor our movements easily whether you register on SimplyGo or not.

Most of the time I get the notification from the SimplyGo immediately after the trip.
But sometimes it only shows up after 1-2 days? I am using physical card to tap.

Some observation:
Use physical card to tap (evening time), SimplyGo notification immediately show up after the trip. Credit card (Visa) transaction SMS rcv the next day morning.
Use GPay to tap (evening time), Credit card (Visa transaction SMS rcv next next day (2 days later) morning.

Doesn't depend on which card or device. Sometimes transactions don't appear until next day. Some don't appear until 3 days later

Samsung Pay transactions has the same behaviour as physical card.

For those using OCBC VISA, do you receive notification of your rides from SimplyGo app?

Always assume posted date unless it is DBS

If I add my card to apple pay to use for my transport, and give my actual card to another person to use for his transport, is it possible? Would I face any problem from Simply Go or the bank?

Was ok for mastercard. Not sure for visa.
