SingPost left a SMS stating that there was a delivery that day. Next day SingPost sent another SMS stating unsuccessful delivery and had left a notification card.
I had waited at home the whole day waiting for the delivery, but was told there was an unsuccessful delivery.
I feedback to SingPost, an hour later the delivery was made. The delivery man admitted that he was responsible for the delivery, and did not attempt to deliver the previous day.

Next day, a caller from SingPost phoned me. First question was did you receive your package. I asked him why SingPost SMS me stating that delivery was unsuccessful? He said you had received your package, what do you want? They are overloaded.

I said I want to complain or speak to a manager, he told me, his manager will call me next working day. However, I did not receive any call from them.

Just sharing this, so whoever receives unsuccessful delivery, don’t beat yourself up for leaving your home for a little while waiting for the delivery.

SingPost case no.:
Your enquiry has been received and your case no. is CAS-7936731-W3D4B5.
He said you had received your package, what do you want? They are overloaded.

Win liao loh.....

Nothing beats the satisfaction of knowing that someone took leave to receive a parcel and you pwning them for wasting the whole day for a slip of paper. Forcing then to make a trip down to post office themselves.

I can imagine the delivery man, sleeping like a baby and smiling.

I did post initially, did not post because I don’t have anything to share then and was busy. Now I’ve retired, I have time to post. Thanks for reading my post 🙏

IMHO.
I think the correct operations need to sort parcel at carpark. SingPost vehicles look good only - small size.
I think their KPI is 1st delivery if fail never mind.
E.g. from china to singapore to door step, let's say 7 days. So let's say stuck at Singpost, they just post the slip and will meet the KPI.

Now is no more door step delivery. The door is open, got door bell, still leave the parcel there.

Kena before also

Ring the door bell once and then just leave the slip (suspect they already prepared the slip before they even rang my door bell)

I quickly went down to confront the postman and only then he LL pass me the parcel

Else I would have to go down to the post office to collect

IMHO.
They should rename SingParcel. Maybe luck will change. SingPost = Letter.
