manage to get the Maybank dyson. most impt is follow closely to the t&c and the timings explained. maybank very rarely has promo on SingSaver so the moment i saw i jumped at it.

thats why service is also important to me, not just 0.1% more interest rate.

If I got any problem with my bank, I ask my RM to sort it out ...

long wait....waited some months....but gotten the sign up gifts as advertised.

So far, all my applications and the promised cash rewards or vouchers were given.

However, we need to read the terms and conditions (from the banks, carefully) - especially the criteria for 'new customers and any other requirements to be fulfilled (like spending)

So, I have no issues with SingSaver, except that I have to manually track every rewards to ensure that it is given.

My personal experience with Singsaver is less than pleasant.
I register for the credit cards promotion on 31 July and yet to receive the gifts.

1. confirm you qualify for the gifts ? check the T&Cs.
2. Enter your email address via singsaver link ?
3. provide them the application reference number after you successfully applied for the cards ?

Let my experience speaks for itself.
I have applied for Singsaver Amex True cash back deal for a Ergotune chair.

26 July - Application on Singsaver

29 July - Activation of card

Aug- Fulfillment of required spending

Sep- No reply from Singsaver if the redemption is successful or not

4 Oct- email Sing saver if they can check

6 Oct - Singsaver replied to say that the application reference number provided was not eligible for the promotion

6 Oct - I checked with Amex and they confirmed that I have fulfilled the criteria for the promotion and urge Singsaver to double check with Amex. I was told by singsaver that they need up to 21 days to do the check.

7 Oct- I take the initiative to get confirmation from Amex. The application is tagged under a different Application reference number

8 Oct- I emailed back to Singsaver with Amex email confirmation as evidences.

11 Oct- Singsaver get back to only say that they will be checking on it

26 Oct- after 21 days from 6 Oct, I emailed to check on the status of the check as it has passed the 21 days which they have promised on 6 Oct.

27 Oct- Singsaver replied to say that they have failed to finish verifying the check and asked me to resubmit a form with the correct application reference number.
When I questioned why they didn’t ask me to do it earlier back in 8 Oct. They brushed me off by saying …..”Not to worry on this, we have already raised your application reference number earlier for checks with the bank. This was already done prior to the request of resubmitting the correct application reference number.” Sounds to me like a lot of excuses

31 Oct-
exactly 3 months from the day I apply for the promotion. I haven’t received the confirmation of my redemption…..
left alone to say the actual receipt of the promotion gift. ‍


i wouldn’t have applied for this promotion if I am told that this wait can take so long (3 MONTHS and counting!!!!) and the process is so complex to simple customer like me.

I applied for SS bank account promo ... applied in late May and only got the rewards credited in late Sep ... so about 4 months

the length of time is usual for SS promo and stated in their terms

... if got hiccups eg) incorrect Reference Number etc, then it should be expected that to take longer

granted, i feel their application process could be better designed, especially for not so regular users

It has stated that it can take up to 90- 120days.
It looks that Singsaver will max out it for all applications.
4 months wait is THE realistic expectation.

Compared to Credit card direct promotion, sing saver has more complex procedure and longer wait time. I would rather stick to Credit card direct promotions because of this experience.
It is just my observation as a first time normal applicant… you never know if you don’t try

from my experience so far, i think they r better than ShopBack in terms of honouring their end of the deal

I do agree singsaver is kinda a scam as they dumping all error on the users...
never once I apply card via them I felt good. I applied with great fear and worry that I made a mistake here or there..

For me, it has been 104 days and counting...... no sign of receiving the gift yet

More updates

It was a month later that Sing saver has asked me to resubmit the form using the new ARN and promised me that there is no issue.
But today, they have updated me that I have to wait for another 90- 120 days from the day I submit the new form because they have to count the days based on the date I have resubmitted the new ARN.

This would mean… my application for this promotion on 29 July 2021 would only get the claim on 03 March 2022

Hi all, how do you get the free gift? Did they send to you via email to collect the gift?
Its been 5 months and I have already emailed them and they confirmed i was eligible (new customer and send in redemption form etc) but have to wait up to 120 days. Its already 150 days and they went radio silence when i emailed them. Is there a number that can reach them?
