Singtel 3G very slow

My connection seem to be vy slow, and when surfing its using wifi more then 3g. how to solve this problem?

blame those gian peng people fully using the all their 12gb to tether lor. Apple should have not enabled tether on iphone.

if u pass by Jurong East, full bar also can get no data.

i guess u dunno how it works.

WIFI -> 3G

meaning, if it detect WIFI in range, it will use WIFI instead of 3G. in order to stop this, u need to disable WIFI.

Hi all, I'm getting pathetic speeds on 3G too(iFlexi Value). However, I have another line that's also iFlexi Value and with that line, 3G speed flies! I can easily get 3mbps with that. At first I thought I had a sim card problem so I went to get the sim changed but that delivered zero results. Getting singtel to reset your line also yields no results.

I have no idea why my other line can achieve such speeds while my main line can't. I've been trying to solve this issue since March this year and till now, singtel has just been giving me crap about bandwidth sharing, blah blah blah...

no benefit only for cheapskate pple who can't afford home braodband. only congest the network and leaves us normal pple struggling.

my sis using starhub, and i using singtel. hers 3gs, mine iphone4. i lost her deep deep.

Yup, both singtel line. I've got 2 iphone 4's. Tested same area(my house which is next to a singtel receiving sation) so number of bars are same. Even swapped sim cards to make sure it's not the phone's prob.

I thought Starhub will lose deep deep.. im using Starhub, sometimes is cannot make it one..

I've got a speculation.... My singtel line that is experiencing slow 3G speeds is a STUDENT iFlexi Value plan while my other line, also an iFlexi Value plan, is not a student plan and it's blazing fast! Would like to confirm whether you guys who are experiencing slow speeds are under an iFlexi student plan. Is so, then this pretty much sums it up.
