It is normal to get the error message. Your submission is okay. Wait for the email from Singtel to see if they accept your order or not.
Received a call from Singtel and was rejected and offer me a 5Gbps for $50+ offer instead. Told them no thanks.

Going to try the WhatsApp route and if still cannot a good recon offer, going to jump ship to starhub to sign up their 3Gbps package liao

Unlikely WhatsApp Singtel channel will give you better offers, in this case, jumping ship to Starhub is a good choice: 3Gbps at S$29.55 with free HB410.

My only worry is the downtime if I jump ship.

Any idea how long it will take for ST to release the fibre port upon termination in order for SH to install my new fibre signup?

You should have two Fibre Terminal Ports. One for SingTel and the other one for the new ISP.

No downtime if you only cancel SingTel after the new ISP is up and running.

There will be a charge for activating the 2nd FTP right?

I managed to get the $29.90 5Gbps offer through the link (upgrading from 1Gbps). Once I signed up through the link, I Whatsapp them immediately. Initially, Singtel rejected me as I’m not eligible. However, I managed to pursuade (try to request with them for the offer to be reviewed by retention team) with them through Whatsapp as my contract will be ending next month.

SingTel has lost the #1 position in Singapore Consumer Fibre Broadband market share in 2025 to StarHub (including MyRepublic Broadband, now also including eight home Internet).

With the current offerings, SingTel market share in consumer Fibre Broadband will further decline once M1/SIMBA merger gets approved in 2026.

I do not recommend SingTel for new users as M1/StarHub offerings are usually of better value.

For existing SingTel users, it is okay to stay with SingTel if you are okay with performance and the recontract offer. If not, just move out.

Mine 10Gbps can recontract from Nov 2025.
Yesterday someone from Singtel called me to inform the contract ending soon and will revert back to $100 plus.

I told her I will recontract with the 5Gbps at $29.90 offered and available online which said no such offer and only have $59.90 offering as for now.

Today my internet is down and after reset both ONR (Bridged) and Asus Router, my internet is capped at 100Mbps

The 404 error is a known thing and you can ignore it. Your order submission is okay.

Now you have to wait for the reply from SingTel to see whether they accept your order or not.

There are both successful reports and unsuccessful reports in this forum.

Singtel has significantly reduce the typical download speed for local servers.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/support/broadband/typical-download-speeds

+++++++++++++++++++

Typical local and international download speeds

The following is based on more than 200 measured readings for each Fibre Broadband plan across peak and off-peak hours. It is validated from April - July 2025.

Peak hours are generally from 7pm - 1am, while off-peak hours are generally from 1am - 7pm.

Fibre Broadband PlanTypical Local Download Speed for Wired Connection*Typical Local Upload Speed for Wired Connection*Typical International Download Speed for Wired Connection*

*The typical download speed range is computed to reflect that, at least 90% of the time, a user should experience the lower bound speed or higher.
^Download speeds for 2Gbps Fibre Plan reflects an aggregated speed of 2 speedtest readings done simultaneously on 2 client devices.
