just wondering why "12 FREE months of 5G+ Access" when it already comes with "250GB of 5G+ data"? Is it a 4G plan in disguise where the 5G+ is an add-on feature? So it might be reverted back to 4G after 12 months?

I see. You can try out Zym to see how it goes. I tend to think Singtel 5G MVNOs' 5G plans at around S$15 will be your best bet for Fibre Broadband replacement, if the data provided is enough for your use case.

Take note Singtel (same for M1/Starhub) 5G speed can be quite a bit faster than 4G, so you may need to monitor your data usage.

But if your use case is okay, then just go ahead.

I'm a one-person household... when I was on heya 4G home network, I barely used 100GB a month.

no netflix, no pak game. no streaming videos. my desktop is more for doing work and stuff

I see, for one person, 300GB is enough.

We have five members at home (4 of us plus one helper) and it is roughly 1TB per month during school holidays and quite a bit less during school days, judging from the data from my two OpenWRT routers.

then hor, say I top up $10, my wallet balance ish $16.9 liao. Then on renewal day I go to app select the 30-day $12 plan.
Then my wallet balance becomes $4.9 after renewal.
Y’all get what I mean? Every cycle use Shopee reseller to top up $10 then every 30 days deplete that wallet balance by $2 till left wif $1.9 residual eventually then 再来打算看怎么样

Yes, from Taobao.

I have tired the Linklan one (not recommended but so far working for me). I have not tried the other one.

Yes. To transfer your existing number, it must be an active non-Singtel hi!* mobile line with no outstanding payments and registered under your NRIC/FIN with your telco. Your request to port-out from your existing telco must be submitted at least 7 days before your next billing cycle.

But in the terms and condition, it says non-Singtel postpaid.
i. “Port-In Service” means a service provided by Singtel Mobile which allows a Customer to retain his non-Singtel Mobile postpaid mobile number by porting his line from his current mobile service provider (“Donor”) to a Singtel Mobile postpaid line. Customer consents to the release of Customer’s information to a third-party central number port service provider and/or the Donor for the purpose of activating the Port-In Service.

BTW, Singtel hi! 4G postplans are very similar to Singtel heya, afterall it replaces Singtel heya.

Haha, you really like heya so that you have four heya lines.

After the migration you only keep one Singtel hi! 4G postpaid line.

To me both heya and Singtel hi! S$12/S$10 plans may not be popular.

SingTel MVNOs' 4G plans around S$10 makes more sense with 180 days free 5G trial.

Or go with SingTel MVNOs' 4G plans at around S$7 since they are cheaper.

Only the S$5 hi! senior plan may be attractive if the users have concerns about the quality of eight S$5 4G senior plan (eight 4G is quite congested) and SIMBA S$5 senior plan (SIMBA coverage and speed are not great).

But for those who like Singtel brand, then Singtel hi! 4G S$12/S$10 PostPaid plans may still make sense if comparing to Gomo 4G saver plan at S$10.18 per month (100 GB local data, 2GB MITTA roaming data) and Gomo 4G Pro plan at S$15 per month (300 GB, 6GB MITTA roaming data).

MITTA: Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan & Australia

But Gomo has 5G plans.

BTW, I do not think Singtel hi! 4G and Gomo 4G plans will have higher priorities than SingTel MVNOs' 4G plans, most likely they are of the same priority. Therefore I feel SingTel MVNOs 4G plans are more worth, especially the plans at around S$10 yet with 180 days 5G access.
