Hi guys, my current Singtel TV pan based on my Bill has

1) 12 Months Jingxuan Starter Promo @5.61 (ending on 17 Jan 19 according to CSO)
2) 24 Months Jingxuan Value @ $72.80 ( ending on Aug 19 according to CSO)
3) DVR Set-TOP Box rental Promo Rate ending 17 Jan 19 @ $4.58

I called 1688 to check on the termination penalty , turns out the termination penalty is the rest of subscription fee ~1.2K...

Is this the norm? Then I terminate for what since have to pay same amount regardless..
Terminating cos no longer watch then every month paying $80+ for service I never use

You can't be having two of the same channels overlapping.

I think no. 1 is about jinghua pack (aka China channels)
No. 2 is your jingxuan pack

Yes, termination for Channel packs is based on subscription x no. of remaining months.

I realise my family are watching less of TV nowadays. With Smart TV, they usually go for YouTube or Netflix.

Will there be any charge for cancellation of Singtel Mio Tv after the expiry of the contract?

If your singtel tv no more contract, just need to call and inform them. They will tell you the return centres, just bring the remote, set TOP box and power supply to the return centres and they will terminate once they processed your equipments.

Also, the ONT might need to be returned if you are using the singtel tv alone..

I need help on this. As expected, they are giving me the merry-go-round treatment with regards to service termination.

Sadly, I can easily add-on extra services through my mobile singtel app in an instant. Removing such add-ons requires calls to 1688 that always put me on hold.

Using their automated query "Shirley" also give me the merry go round to use their new Whatsapp enquiry which also never reply after I was connected.

Why can't I just come down their outlets to speak to a human? I know with the pandemic and all but this is ridiculous.

I need to do the following:

1. Terminate Miotv
2. Recontract to 1gbps broadband.
3. Retain my landline service
4. Remove Landline Phone Plus Pack VAS.

My current 500Mbps BB still charge me the old price of $71. Current 1Gbps subscription is only $49.90. With the economic situation, every dollar counts.

Anyone can point me to where I can the 4 things done.

TIA

Just to add, just ported my singtel mobile to a competitor. Saved me $10/mth.
