Just ordered an Iphone 4 White from Singtel Shop...

First time owner of Iphone..got a few questions to ask.

1) What version does it comes with?

2) Any link on how to JB??

i didnt wanna create another thread so i might as well ask here since its sort of related (iphone 4 from singtel)

if i bought my iphone from singtel and got problems - i am supposed to go to singtel for replacement sets not apple , is this true?

is there any waiting time for the replacement? would i have to wait for weeks or will they replace my set on the spot?

Go direct to SingTel, cos you bought from them.

No waiting time for replacement, they have plenty of stocks for exchange. They replace your set on the spot.

Do you use Singtel data plan when oversea?

Just wondering what are the cheapest way to call n use Internet when you are oversea. Eg in states. Do you use your iPhone for surfing n call?

But if u not using for calling but using data ( example u can use skype) than I suggest u get local pre paid data card.. More cheaper..
Example for Malaysia Digi prepaid 3G data card for 5 days unlimited usage cost RM25.
Singtel 1 day oversea data usage $20 ( now got promotion : 1 day $14 ...)

Taiwan have prepaid data card too.. one of the telco center sells ard 450NT for 5 or 7 days 3G unlimited access..
You need to get one from their Airport before proceed off to city.. Becuase all the Taiwan Telco booth set up side by side, easy for purchase..

Take note that not all sim can cut into smaller size for iPhone use. Don't buy liao go n cut n then cannot use. Ubwill waste $. So check carefully b4 buying

Singtel Users: damaged 3GS 1 to 1 exchange?

Hi all,

sorry if this has been asked before.

I have a jailbroken 3GS, understood that I have to restore back to factory setting before I can go for a 1 to 1 exchange.

I have an unresponsive Home Button and my set is still under warranty.

1) which and where are the singtel shops which allow this 1 for 1 exchange?
2) can i just go down and do the exchange? or are there steps like give apple a call first and bla bla bla stuffs and such.

appreciate those who had done this before give me your feedback.
