can i replace iphone 4 singtel if not under my name?

i bought this iphone 4 2nd hand, so i dont know if there's a way to replace the set without contacting the owner.

Does anybody know the contact number for Singtel Apple Technical Care @ Comcentre?

I just want to check if the replacement stocks for the White Iphone are in... mine has been defective since I got it 3 weeks ago and everytime I went down its always out of stock

There is no way you can contact them over the phone, even if you yell at CSO of 1688.

The only solution is to go down personally, and leave down your contact number. The rest depends on fate..

If its a singtel set, yes you can replace it so long its still under the first year of warranty. You need to present your IC for record purposes. the owner need not be present during the exchange..

Go down bang table, currently should change a new set for you as there are not much refurbish set even from the US yet.

i received it on my birthday... dont know who is the person that gave it to me, so does that mean i cant claim warranty from SingTel? It cames with a Hello Shop shopping bag!

Well the receiver has no sound when I make calls, so I cannot hear what the other person is saying. It was only after they remote activated my SIM card later in day that I found this out.

2 weeks ago when I went down for the second time they said they will courier the new phone to me once the stocks have arrived.

I guess the stocks are not in yet I will go take a look on Thursday again. Thanks to all who replied!

I am afraid that you will not be able to find out the contact number for ComCentre, only SingTel backend team can contact them.

Else every day go down ask lo. But I think till now, not so fast have white refurbished la

I got the same problem as you when i brought the iphone 3 weeks ago fr singtel hello shop...unable to test the set cos the microsim card not activated yet. The next day sim card activated liao try to call and cannot heard ppl talking at all. I called 1688 and confirm that is the receiver not working. She tell me to go down to helloshop and try to exchange.

Therefore I returned to hello shop and ask for a new 1 to 1 exchange, the store manager refused and says it is Singtel Apple policy that they cannot do it. If it is other brands of phone they can do so.

Then I went down all the way to COM Centre for an exchange. The technician had to transfer the screen protector over to the other phone. The technician damaged it because she is not train on this at all she say even is spoilt singtel will not compensate. What had made me so frustrated and angry is she refused to give me a new set and it is a refurnished set (Blackbox).

I send a complain letter to singtel. The waive me 1 month bill for making me to helloshop, $150 for unable to to change me a new phone, $30 for screen protector and a apple care protection plan $99.

Fugs so good!!!!!! but your receiver not working is really suay and genuine issue

Plug the headphones back into it. Then turn on the ipod and play music. Then pause the music and unplug the headphones, and the receiver will work. If you accidentally pull out the headphones while the music is playing it somehow kills the receiver speaker untill you plug it back in pause the music and thern unplug them.

My friend's friend also same problem. She passed to me to let me check, i just take from her then press press shake abit, then i start to use her phone to call mine, no problem with the receiver leh. Both friends scratch their heads.
