my iphone 4 power button is totally not working, then when suddenly it turned off. already tried a lot of things to turn it on again but no luck. now, i am planning to visit singtel comcentre for an exchange. will they allow to do the exchange?

btw, i got a jailbroken iphone. will they detect if it is jailbroken even if they cannot switch it on.

anyone encountered this problem before?

Hey guys,
I'm experiencing an issue with my iPhone home button. It sometimes work, sometimes it doesnt.

I press home button twice become one click or three clicks. or one click become no clicks. three clicks become 2 clicks or one clicks.

I have recently changed my iPhone at comcenter before, does it mean i cannot change my iPhone again for the same reason?

and also, anyone noticed a clicking sound near the power button or camera of the phone when you put ur phone on the floor or a just by gently tapping on a hard surface?

i went to exchange once and was told it was just normal, as iphone is made with material called metal or some metallic names. im sure it is not that. someone in other forums has already confirmed it being a problem with the camera lens loose.

how can i make them believe it is a real problem and not just a made up problem?

another question is my iphone is running ios 5 , will they change mine ? my phone is registered developer device. therefore, im authorized to run ios 5 on my device. not illegal in any way.

hope to get a reply from you people out here asap and thanks alot.
those who just got their iphone exchanged can tell us the first starting serial number of the device? does it start with 5K? or 5?

since u say home button got issue, they press they should be able to get the problem de.

as long under warranty is can change one.

unless they die die say no fault on ur phone lo.

Hi guys, my phone is strange...

My microphone is not working when I put the phone on speaker mode (caller on the other side cannot hear me)

But.....

My voice memo recorder is able to record voice memo
I am able to do normal calls (by not using the speaker phone function)

Anybody knows wads wrong???

i have asked them, the warranty is valid from the date of purchase of your 1st iphone, thereafter, as long as within warranty period, got problem just go to them, no limit.

oh btw, i went on thursday nite for the exchange of my slightly cracked + home button issues phone.

they ignored the cracks, i told them the home button issue, and was given a 1-1 exchange immediately.

Hi bros. just have some questions

i brought a iphone4 black from a bros in hardwarezone , he doesnt have the receipt but the phone does have 5 more months of warranty.

If there is a problem with the phone, can i do a 1 to 1 exchange from singtel com centre just by showing him/her the box ?

u confirm singtel set?
receipt is not a requirement as info are on system.
normally no issue as long not stolen/blacklisted by singtel.

i change a 3gs 8mths back though the set is not bought under my name.
they only request my nric. anyway mostly depend the cso u see on the day.

i changed 4 times altogether in my near 2 years span with iPhone.

not once did singtel CSO asked for my NRIC

hmm during the take queue number counter, duno is i extra or they ask i gave nric.

during the change, i think got ask for nric. cant really rmb le.

but its great dont need nric. if need then give, dont matter to me too.
