Hi, i'm abit confused with this iphone data youth plan which i'm using right now.

After 1 year and 6 months my iphone suddenly spoil and i cant use the phone so i'm using NOKIA E51 as my spare phone which has internet service. Does my "3G Flexi Lite Youth Plan" cover the data usage? Or i'm using GPRS to go on internet, because i always got this message that says Choose either one "Wifi, Ideas internet, Ideas MMS ect. which i always press Ideas internet? will i be charge for it or just my data plan?

Thank you

Need some advice from you guys....

your 12gb entitlement covers all of the APNs.
So no worries ! :s12:

Bro i truely agree with you went down this morning to change it this set is even better then my old set i mean so far so good in fact it is really new even if it is a refurbish set. Also some bros are saying refurbish set starts with 7xxx or 5xxx which i don't think so because my new set bought from sngtel starts with 7xxxx does that mean singtel is selling me refurbish set right from the start...But i am happy i made the choice to change....

Great =) enjoy ur new set. for me as long as it looks good, feels good, a refurbish set is as good as new =D

Today I just went down Singtel Comm Centre and attemped to exchange my iPhone 4 due to intermittent (not all the time) insensitive home button. The CSO was quite neutral, and spoke to me patiently and suggested that it might be a software corruption that might caused my home button to be insensitive and he recommended me to do a restore. I went home and did a restore and find that the problem is still unsolved.. It's quite frustrating in some sense.

So yea, is it true that there won't agree to exchange another set for you if they can't "see" the problem on the spot? Becoz I feel like going down again, but this time, I don't want to queue for an hour just to be rejected and say it's a software problem causing it.

Do I need to request for an exchange or it's up to them to decide?

Im guessing it is juz a protocol to follow to to restore the iOS and try to see if that solves all problems. if it dont, i think you could insist on getting it changed.

When the CSO did a restore for me, he already issued me a Service Ticket Form or somesort stating that "no exchange is required".. After restore, he just returned me my phone and told me that the problem is solved, and all I need to do is to sync my back data. The point is, when I reach home and test it out, the home button problem still appear.

don't know why so many people think changing phone is getting a new set. :s22:

it's actually a refurbished set. those spoilt set that has been sent for QC, QA that's why it looks new. LOOKS new.

I ever went to apple to for 1 to 1 exchange and coincidentally, one of those exchange i had was my friends' previously spoilt set. -____-"

how u know since refurb set imei was changed?

Hard reset means return to factory default, thus need to back up first. Any soft reset option tt do not change the data inside. Hate the idea to redo everything...

How do they check for battery level of the iphone 4 before they determine if they want to exchange?

no, but they check the LCI to see if there's water damage and they also check for physicial damage.

hi,

i have an iphone from M1, it's still under warranty.

Problem 1 : my power on button is stuck..now it doesn't respond to itunes, all i see is black screen on my phone. Apparently i can call thru, so the phone is still in the power on mode.

Problem 2 : home button faulty, doesn't respond no matter how hard you press

my phone is JBed, is it possible to do a 1 to 1 exchange?

where should i go to? my set is from M1.

let say i tell them my battery life is dead very quickly, they will allow me to exchange for one?

they will, provided u inform them u already did a full restore.. blah blah etc etc and that it still does not solve the problem.
