[Singtel] Telco iPhone queries/discussions

Hi all, advice needed I received a $100 voucher from Singtel. The letter stated that it has to be used to buy any ANDROID phone with a new 2yr contract. However, the Terms and Conditions behind the voucher itself does not state this. Does any one know if I can use this voucher to purchase the iPhone or other non-android phone on a new plan? Thank you very much!

call singtel and ask? safest and easiest.

Thx... just bought it last saturday... the queue for enquiry is around 30min+ which mean a lot of spoilt phone around...

They say tat if ur volume button drop, it is actualli not cover under the warranty.. But however, they will still change for you this 1 time... LoL...

As long your iPhone have not much physical damage & totally NO water damage.. They are able to help u exchange it...

Water indicators are inside the headphone jack and inside the charging jack there...

My "new" iPhone look good.. Somehow feel like got a new phone... Lucky i bought applecare last month...

anyone know what we have to bring to do 1-to-1 exchange at singtel? this phone is actually under my mum's name... but she's very busy with work and would prefer not go with me to wait and get things done (duno how long this will take)... anyone recently went there to do exchange?

and can exchange to white one or not arh? :X

nothing. just bring the set down for servicing

They check the serial number from their system to shOw whether the phone come from singtel or not. No need to bring box or wat. If it is the phone problem, they will just exchange the phone only

no leh if the line registered under ur name then no need ic
but say registered under someone's else line, e.g your mum, sister, brother, dad then you require their IC.

Juz made a change last Mon alone.. my iphone 3gs was under my wife's name... when I was there with juz the handset, the staff only request for my IC.

Think as long the handset owner's add same as yours.. its ok to juz bring ur own IC down.. IMO! Hope it helps

it's actually a refurbished set. those spoilt set that has been sent for QC, QA that's why it looks new. LOOKS new.

I ever went to apple to for 1 to 1 exchange and coincidentally, one of those exchange i had was my friends' previously spoilt set. -____-"

yeah... i noe its not a new set... thats why i said i'm lying to myself. anyways... my mum called singtel and in the end, they gave us like one whole list of things to do to check if the home button is really spoilt b4 sending the phone to comcentre. and surprisingly, the hard reset and resetting the settings of the phone does make my home button more sensitive... i wonder if its psychological to think that the home button works better now...

sometimes a hard reset reboot can make the phone to work better.

I agree initially i jb my phone then the home button became very cranky and insensitive so i did a reset and set it as a new phone now it works so much better.
