Hi i'm currently using the AC elite router but i'm unable to do portforwarding for my router, can anyone here advise me on what to do?

Do i need to change my ip from dynamic to static. I'm trying to portforward so that i am able to use a remote application to control my PCs.
I've tried portfowarding and porttrigger but i'm unsure if i'm doing it right.

have you tried navigating on the left side bar, under LAN?

from there you can port forward..

The one you need to port forward is the local IP address of the device, such as your cctv camera etc.

Tried rebooting doesn't work. So if let's say I key in my ip address. Then I want to port forward to port 8173. So the lan port and public port I put both as 8173 right?

from the above image, LAN IP will be the NAS IP, protocol type select your own, LAN PORT will be 8173, public port will be the VPN IP/WAN IP. then check enable.

after which click apply and then reboot.

I set my lan ip address to my device address. However for the public port when I key in my wan ip under public port, it says invalid public port.

anyone here did a comparison between the 2 singtel routers? AC1900(elite?) vs AC Plus?
Im suppose to collect AC Plus from plusserve @313, but im thinking if my current AC1900 is better or the same, then i just dont wanna make a wasted trip down.

its free anyway, why not collect it and keep at home, just in case your existing router break down during weekends or PH?

U might want to look back a few page, as back then there was a thread on the comparison.
