I got the SJ4000. Not bad quality for build and video output. Photo wise don't expect much but if no crop, images still are decent. No wifi for it. At least if drop or spoil, not so heart pain.

Yes, compared to other budget action cam, it gives the best value and performance. For the keen outdoor enthusiast/sportsman, it might not be good enough.

Anyway, I would read DL reviews with a large pinch of salt as their reviews are base on limited testing environments and are not indepth nor comprehensive.

If you look USA retail price for Hero 3+
White US$199 = SG$250
Silver US$299 = SG$377
Black US$399 = SG$503

Retail prices in Singapore way much higher.
There is only 1 master distributor in Asia controlling the prices and stocks and margin for retailers are very low.

If this supplier selling such a low prices likely they are getting USA set and could be refurbished set.

Please do not forget that the online company take quite a huge cut.

I am currently using the SJ4000 as car cams. For the price, it perform reasonably well in both day and night. Clear images and doesn't overheat.

Only negative point is the short battery life.

SJ4000 is 70 min as claim by manufacturer.
Spare battery for SJ4000 is cheap compare to other brands.
You can always carry spare battery. They are going to launch the stand by alone charger for the battery soon.

On 1080p setting with screen off, I am getting not more than 60 mins of battery life.The battery capacity is small, so can't expect much anyway.

I did buy spare batteries but as its mainly for car recorder usage, I just plug in the power cable to my cig socket.

Anyway, I can say that this camera's video quality beats 90% of the much more expensive car camera out there.

if i am not wrong, it only support 32GB.
Anyway my experience for 1080p used up 1GB for every 8 min video.
If you have 32gb x 8 min which is more than 4 hours.

Thanks. 32Gb is what is officially supported, but I'm just interested to find out whether anyone actually tried to stick a 64Gb in there.

That was the cheapest i found already.
Shipping was a little longer than expected though but everything came in original retail packing.
