but the Dr Davin Lim himself is using it. and the company seems good.

Be a smart individual
Use brands and personalities as a guide, an incomplete shortcut
but not have it replace your own judgement, or the work required for critical thinking and evaluation

I’m done trying to convince people of this forum about why alcohol is bad, a forum is supposed to be a two-way information exchange. But folks here seems to want to discuss if the earth is flat

The evidence is overwhelming from various sources about non-fatty alcohol
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/120636614-post5.html
Go ahead and put alcohol on your skin if you want, 10 years later after prolonged consistent daily alcohol application I’m sure your skin will thank you for it.

I was referring to your missha time revolution essence, not the 400ml one.

Sidenote : I went to try out niacinamide on a mask sheet last night; I think you were right that my previous irritation was probably due to the product's formulation. I'm looking to purchase TO's 10% + zinc soon. Thanks.

Highly recommend supergoop everday sunscreen.

Non- sticky. :s12:

Yup I’ll recommend this brand as well.

I looked through most of their products many contains those more exotic anti-oxidants such as “astaxanthin”

I also went to Sephora and tried them
They make a variety of sunscreens catered to different people, some for ingredients purist like me, some with ultra ultra watery texture (sacrificing ingredients) for makeup, some with a one size fits all universal tint.

Oh I would recommend their spray-on sunscreen cans for reapplication purposes.
I personally do not re-apply sunscreen but by right according to both dermatologists and sunscreen manufacturers, you’re supposed to reapply sunscreen once every 2-3 hours

Morning RoutineEthylated Ascorbic Acid 15% SolutionResveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%Pycnogenol 5%SHISEIDO Anessa Perfect UV Mild MilkMight be switching out the Ethylated Ascorbic Acid to L-Ascorbic Acidpowder form because 3 serums are somewhat too oily in texture and I find it hard to absorb.

Night RoutineGranactive Retinoid 2% EmulsionNiacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%A serum from PlacentaNatural Moisturizing Factors + HA (if i decide to sleep in aircon)Unless otherwise stated, all products are from The Ordinary (https://theordinary.com/product

Thanks for sharing your routine!

How did you decide on which vitamin c to pick? The ordinary has tons of them. The one that caught my eye was ascorbic acid in suspension plus hyaluronic acid. What do you think?

Also, why retinol in emulsion form and not in squalane?

What are your goals for vitamin C??
Is it to whiten? Or is it to prevent aging and its general benefits like what I use it for?

Vitamin A is highly sensitizing and may cause irritation, it was my FIRST Vitamin A product so I want to start with something that is of lower strength. Also, Squalene is very oily in texture, so yea

I will advise that you do not start both Vitamin A and Vitamin C routines at the same time because if you have an adverse reaction, you will not know which is the one you are sensitive to.

I will recommend you start with Vit C, then 2 weeks later start on your retinol.

But again you need to tell me what is the purpose of you using Vitamin C then I can make recommendations

I'm already using mad hippie vitamin c and mad hippie vitamin a, so I'm not entirely new to these acids.

Using them both for anti aging, acne and blemishes; not so much on whitening.
