9.6 = number of first timer application.

You have to see what is the ratio set for FT and ST out of 35 available units then count from there..

95% set aside for FT which works out to 33 units.. 9.6 x 33 = about 317 FT application..or 9.6 application to a unit.

Hi,

I have a question on income ceiling.
My partner and I would like to apply for a unit in the current SOBF exercise.

During online application, we were told to key in our income for past 3 months. Subsequently, the system prompt that we are not eligible to apply as our income exceed the income ceiling.

We are commission base employees and just happen that there was a spike on our income in the past month. If taken on a whole (i.e. 12 months average) we did not exceed the income ceiling.

Any advise how we should proceed?

Hi, this scheme says 50% of flats are reserved for such people. If you choose an estate, how are units reserved, or they just reserve 50%of total units. Also do you thonk I have a good chacne of getting if I try with this scheme? Even for mature estates. Eyeing toa payoh or kallang.

First Timer applicants = (512*95%)*1.0 = 486
Second Timer applicants = 621-486 = 135
MCPS allocation = 512*30%=153

I'm not sure if my calculation is correct, but how do my chances look like ?

Malay - 145
Chinese - 504
Indian/Others - 188

So if you are a Malay pray that your number is 145 and below for a sure chance of getting a flat. lol. Not many Chinese book a flat in Bukit Batok.

malay community is in bukit gombak area. Not bukit batok... unless u are referring to the developments such near millenia institute
