Hi guys, can i check, if i applied for the housing by saying i stay near my parents, i must bring my parents along for selection? My parents are not fit for long travel and its quite hard for them to go with us for selection of flat. Anyone worked around this before?

I was told need to bring parents along but might be able to appeal byr check w hdb

Hi I am also targeting either terrace or cascadia. But I went personally to see the place, most of the units in Terrace 1&2 facing not so good, and all of them main entrance is side by side with your neighbour(not so good in term of privacy). So most likely I will be going for Cascadia as I feel a bit more comfortable when walking around that area. No doubt Terrace location is better.

Really looking forward for the selection.

i think by then when your appt date has arrived you can personally contact the officer in charge of your appt and arrange something else with them instead.

Wait until neck long too...truly a 'waiting game' for those who can afford to wait.

The last i understand from my call to HDB, they will inform us minimally 5-7 working days before your date of appt. So tight time frame, still gotta arrange w parents to go for the appt tgt, take leave, etc. Sighs =/
