this is my error log for my iphone 6 plus crashing. is it a hardware or software issue?

the predictive function of the keyboard will sometimes be permanently disabled

i have to go turn it off and on again to enable it

Not sure what's the error about but I see all my errors they only have 3 types.

- double-bit error detected in ECC
- the faulting frame may be missing in backtrace
- LSU error (L2C-double-bit-ECC)

So they are all hardware issues? I guess I have to go to the service centre already.

u r still on 8.0.2. i suggest to update to the latest 8.1 then see if u still get e errors. remb to always backup b4 any update.

So its shouldbe a software issue? It states ram error? By the way, I just updated to 8.1. See how it goes.

has this been discussed before? sometimes my notification centre and control centre just couldnt be drag down and up. only a restart solves the problem

i go this problem too.
8.0 and 8.1. it is so irritating

For those with Wi-Fi issues, change it from 40mhz to 20 mhz. Am still monitoring but it seems much better this far.

Haha. Nothing was like that before iOS 8. So it's an iOS issue. Just hope it'll get fixed next update.

Anyway just tried the above settings. See how it goes.

Agree that it was ok prior to iOS 8.1. But I can't stand the wifi anymore and 8.1.1 may not be coming soon. Anyway this was referred to by the apple care consultant. They were very professional about the issue when I called in.

So far so good.

Looks like it's hardware issue. Everything is fine now after the exchange. Went to service centre yesterday, after they tried to restore my iphone and fail they give me a one for one exchange on the spot. Was afraid it would take a few days. pheww.

The settings made the Wi-Fi more stable but I still encountered no connection after 2 full days. I have since turned on and am using the Wi-Fi from my time capsule. Ping is now consistently at 3ms and download and upload is at 100mbps.

Wi-Fi finally feels faster than my M1 4g.

I don't own a time capsule ;( anyway is there really no other way to revert back to 7.1.2? Cos the wifi issue is really killing me. Even if I bring down to service center can they even do anything?

Btw, say if I upgrade my router to an airport. Doyle

It was a fantastic update no doubt, and solved MOST of the problems people had with iOS 8/8.0.2 regardless of device.

No offence but the ones complaining here, either have some suay hardware issues, mis-configured devices, too sensitive/overreacting, JB issues, never based their tests fairly or just bashing apple as usual.

Did you drop your phone before? The little unseen things such as (drops) do matter and internal damage does accumulate over time.

Oh and a new finding, I managed to break the 90 Mbps down/up 'barrier' for iPhone 5S on a 5Ghz link (on SH 300Mbps Fibre) using the speedtest app by ookla. But only managed it once out of so many tries, average still around 8x.
