Yup. This bag can store quite a fair bit of stuff.

Have about 5 sets of clothings and 3 sets of sleep wear (which my friends have said it's too much)!!!! One pair of shoes and a pair of slippers. Thermal mug, water bottle, microfiber towel, etc. Didn't bring my laptop. Brought a tablet, mobile and camera GX1.

Research done over the internet, travel guide books and speaking with people who has done the trip. Happens that my best friend lives in Beijing. Only met up for dinner. Didn't stay in Beijing this trip as I have been to Beijing a few times. No friends in any of the cities that I'll be stopping. Only when I depart from St. Petersburg, I'll be heading to Mannheim to meet my brother who's studying there.

What was the total damage? 3 months is quite a lengthy period of time.

i don't have tablet, so have to bring netbook. i'll still bring torch light, batteries, battery charger, emergency medication, etc...

some noob questions:
wet clothes is it still put inside bag?
you deposited your bag not scared get lost?
no need trekking shoes?
no need cold wear?

Rest of the trip, starting from Mongolia, I'll be staying at hostels.

I used auto settings. Only when there's nice scenary (like Lake Baikal) then I'll use manual settings.

This reminds me of my road trip through the west coast in America. Sometime I even slept in the car.

I have three long sleeve tops, 3 short sleeves tops, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of leggings. Bought a dress and a pair of shorts in China. Bought 6 pairs of socks in China (for $4) so will wear and throw.

Brought an umbrella and raincoat. Panadol, plasters and medicated oil. Bought nail clippers, shower foam, shampoo in China.

1 wool sweater, 1 polyester sweater, 1 cotton jacket and 1 down feather jacket.
