Some hacker controlling my pc!

security depends on the user. in this case, it is non-existent. i am always baffled by comments like common sense is the best security and no av is needed

Cos sometimes anti virus block some false positive so there's this hate over AV and people will not recommend it after seeing how without a AV they can install stuff easier at the expense of their safety

anyway just get emsisoft emergency kit, hijackthis and tdsskiller. use these to scan your pc and you should be good.

But I cannot access internet if not the hacker can gain access to my computer...

The 1st thing I installed after getting a windows com is a antivirus. Subsequently malware spyware detectorand a reliable browser with virus /ad block add ons.

TS probably clicked and install some Trojan programs which probably while searching for free bukit timah stuff or fake cheat codes for mobile games.

Probably a amateur hacker/kid or he could have rake up phones bills not steal ur worthless clash of clan account .

TS is freaking lucky ,it might have been much worse.

*it might be possible to catch the hacker as he doesn't seem to have basic hacking knowledge probably using a hacker rootkit found online

thats exactly what you should do. do the cleaning offline. the emsisoft program is portable so download on another pc and put it on a usb stick.

1) Boot up using Linux live DVD.
2) Attach n mount your NTFS hdd n copy out all your required files n docs to external drives.
3) Unmount n detach your external backup drive.
4) Then Darik's Boot n Nuke all your drives.
5) Reinstall Windows on boot drive.

He cannot do anything to you unless he has some malware installed to control your computer remotely. At most he can still ddos u with your IP address.

Disconnect your infected computer from Internet n disinfect it offline.
Focus on recovering access to your online accounts n changing passwords to block further access by the hacker.

Alright I hope so, anyways I just remembered, before he controlled there was this "clientmonitor.exe" error, wonder if this will help know what is he using instead of malware or something

as long as you are behind a router you are safe. but if you initiate a connection to the hacker through installing malware then you are not.

Are you serious in engaging a digital forensics investigator for thousands of dollars to investigate the case or sue the hacker in court for damage n losses over a personal gaming/home pc?

By all means go ahead.

I doubt the police is going to chase down the hacker and extradite him from whichever country he is in, just for you.
