Waaaaa
Bro I read ur post and u say is Sony I’m worrying now hahahaha
bought this tv for only two months and it broke down. Called customer service and they are only available monday to fridays. Finally get a hold of them and they sent a technician only available on weekdays as well. Had to take leave to open the door and in the end the service man didnt have the necessary parts to repair claiming panel spoilt. Now have to arrange another day of leave to be at home for their repair. It is so disappointing for Sony to have such service recovery after selling a defective product.

X900OF

Does anyone know about our local X9000F set is it IMAX Enhanced certified as it is not mention on the Sony site but I saw the similar model in the US having mention about this certification.

Just check yday 8500F vs 8500G
85f-$107x
85g-$13xx

The difference is the x1 extreme chip and the FALD
I just using for ps4/Xbox 1/UHD/Netflix
85f is sufficient for my scenario right?

Don't be confused, IMAX Enhanced certified is intended for cinema
but not home theater.
What that statement means X9000F the Sony X1 processor is able
to meet IMAX standards and reproduce.

If you want IMAX experience best would be at Cinema.
I have never heard about IMAX setup for home but private theater.

If you want to save $ than 85f, if you want future proof than 85g.
Not much difference except the newer 85g have the Acoustic multi audio.

The latest G series have some hdmi 2.1 features such as eARC that supports atmos passthough. Please compare the features carefully before you buy and take what you read on forums such as these with a pinch of salt.

It may not be a good idea to buy a HDMI 2.1 TV right now merely for that feature.
Many things will change, and you don't want to be owning a TV that has compatibility issues with other gear and yet pay a premium..

True, devices such as soundbar, AVR and etc. there are not many
with HDMI 2.1 specs yet.
eARC for at the moment some AVR have it, soundbar wise not many models support this.

You yourself understand what the reviewer is talking about ?

I thought you only can understand and write in Cantonese.

If you do understand English, then do all the Cantonese proficient forumers here a favour , by translating into Cantonese for them, as you always do.

Anyone looking to get the outgoing 65" OLED A8F, this is the best time to get it.

Bought it together with a 55" LG B8 for $6600 2 weeks ago from Courts Causeway Point. Completely debundled price - no free gifts. Broken down, it is $2k for the 55" LG B8 and $4.6k for the Sony 65" A8F.

Went there looking to get LG B8s for both 65" and 55" but the Sony promoter talked me into getting the Sony A8F for the 65". I was hesitant as I knew Sony was out of my reach but could not resist when he accepted my offer of $4.6k, which is just bit more than the 65" B8 and $200 more than what folks are paying in total for getting their LG C8s from JB.

Picture quality wise, having played around with both at home over the different sources, the Sony beats the LG B8 hands down. The colours are more natural and have more depth. Glad that the Sony promoter talked me into getting the Sony for the 65 inch.

From now onwards, it will be Sony all the way for my future replacements.

You are banned twice already. You want to be banned again? What on earth is wrong with you? You are obsessed with hating Chinese and taking about penises!

What wrong am i saying now?

I have shared my personal experience in buying the Sony A8F at a good price and how it is better than the Oled LG B8.

If anyone should be getting banned , it should be you for digressing from the serious discussions here.

Guys
I've deleted some posts which bear no relevance to Sony TVs.
Keep the EDMW or racists and other rude posts out of this forum.

For those who aren't Chinese, just ignore the man. Since the HWZ Admin has no intention of banning the man, there's no grounds for action. The universe is big enough for all of us. Otherwise just ignore and move on.

For me, I simply skip the post and move onto the next post I can understand or read. But I stop at rude or unpleasant posts. These will be removed and the poster warned and subsequently banned.
