Just like other TV. 800Hz is software only. The panel is 200Hz type.
I last saw it at Best Denki Taka. Pre order only. Andriod interface is very good. However picture quality is so so only.

Actually was comparing with 4k panel, W series picture quality looks very good.

I just went to Somerset and ordered the 50in W800C for 1599. Comes with 2 3D glasses and wall mount. Free delivery and installation next week! ;D
Tell you all if it's really good then.

Almost decided on the 48in w700c for 1199 but overall it doesn't seem as good deal, being smaller, edges not as nice, and no android nor 3d ability nor 3d glasses, so in the end decided on w800c with its extra non essential features instead because kiasu mah, you never know if the panel could actually be superior even if one's eyes can't really tell the difference. Ok rant over

I believe the norm now is 100/120hz rather than 2/240Hz so unless your info is based on actual figures, suggest you don't mislead pp here.

My info is base on actual lcd panel spec.
For example. A LG 47in TV that I open up

Then you can google and start to find out who is the original maker of panel and specification of panel.

There is no misleading. Anything higher then 200Hz or for country that operate at 60Hz AC, you get 240Hz. Anything higher is by software only. Not physical refresh rate. This is why you gave a option in menu to turn it off. As it does not work well in all situation especially gaming.

I will get the same model as you, W800C either next week or the week after. Besides, will get the home theatre system together model BDV-N5200W.

P/S. the down side of this model, capacity only 8.2g which is not much for alots of apps.

It's LED soft panel, not IPS. Wanted this model too but then it's $400 more compared to FHD 43W800C. U need to consider if it's worth that extra on a 43", which may not be seeing huge difference between FHD and UHD. That's my thoughts. I intend to get 43W800C.

Bought KDL-50W800C yesterday at Courts AMK at $1599 and a home theatre system BDV-N5200W at $599.
Comes with 4pairs of 3D active glasses.
Bought extended warranty at $369 and delivery $10. Free wall mount installation.
Delivery will be on next Wed.

Seemed like most shops will just follow the sony days promotion pricings.
