Checked the boucher, it states only 2 glasses for 55" only, 50" and 43" dun hv. Maybe courts give special deal huh

Yeap, Courts offer only the additional glasses and another $50 cheaper for my home system. TV will be the same price as the sony days promotion.

Among Best Denki, Gain City , Harwey Norman and Courts, only Courts can give a very good intros regarding Android TV. I'm so impressed by these tv cast and tv sideview apps on my iphone which my iphone can act as a remote control and cast HD movies from my iphone to the Android tv. I don't even need to download any apps in order watch those movies.
Still need some time to explore.
Looking forward to my new toy coming Wed.

for all KDL-50W800C users,take note the touchpad remote is optional and not a standard accessories.
using this remote , it enable you to do voice recognition function when browse google search

Yes, confirm got, unless you tell them you dun want. Even the cheaper smaller models also get free wall mount with installation on delivery day. You can also tell you you just want the wall mount, no need installation.

you need this remote to surf internet and for voice recognition search.

the sony days brochure put one flick remote FOC leh....together with 2x 3D glasses and PWP special.

i mangement to try out their new android series TV at Sony Outlet in Nex with my wife.
Do take note of the below cons with turn my wife off.

- The google play store is not the full library like your android phone, most of the apps are missing.
- Internal app store storage of 16GB which about 8GB is used by the TV.
- No internet browser, tried search for chrome, firefox with no result found.
(my wife like to stream drama using the smart tv browser)

Fyi, just learned that Sony recalled the new models. Not sure if it's due to patch updates. Hv to wait for updates before I can order.

U mean u can't actually buy the tv now?

Actually most of the outlets also hv limited stocks, hv to wait also. At least I know courts have some, and today Sony Centre at Funan hv few stocks of 49,55 inches just arrived. The news came in late afternoon. Not sure if all distributors affected.

Perhaps u guys may want to clarify with your sales. I am not sure on the whole picture. But I will wait for the news updates if it's worthwhile the wait.
