I get 4%pa on my endowment plan for 15 years! No such good lobang now! But more than 3% I think still available.

That’s quite good. Moneyowl/ifast only give me 1+% PA.

Mai ku ku lah. Your STI ETF dividend yield annually is already higher than SSB.

You'll be getting less returns from SSB since STI ETF dividends is better.
Putting money in STI ETF is not for capital gains but for dividends.

No withholding tax with Endowus iShares US Index Fund (IE) S&P 500. With SGD hedged, i figure its cheaper than S27, even considering the 0.3% endowus fee, but it's close.

probably bcos what u purchased is priced in sgd, while the index is based on usd prices? USD depreciated quite abit against sgd in the last couple of months.

and to anticipate potential follow up question:
the ishare S&P500 fund is denominated in sgd, but it dosnt mean it hedge the currency fluctuation. it simply means u can buy and sell without converting currency on ur own.

S27 is dividend-paying.

Blackrock is accumulating. Means to say the dividends are automatically reinvested.
