Ahhh.....

Thank you for kindly pointing this out to me! .../\...

So it was suppose to be $1M cap!

Looks like i my $200K qualifies then.

Thank you!
Do note you need to "bring in incremental fresh funds* (compared to September 2022 average daily balance)"

HI! Newbie here. For all current and future esaver promo...

Do I qualify for the incremental balance promo (assuming promo till Dec) if I do this:

1. put in 10k for 1 Oct in esaver acc
2. Transfer 10k to jumpstart account on 1 Nov
3. Put back in to esaver on 1Dec

TDLR would it still work if I transfer to SC jumpstart and back the following month or does the amount in jumpstart affect esaver?

Thanks!

* “Fresh funds” means funds that do not originate from any existing account with the Bank or funds that are not withdrawn and re-deposited within 30 days of the Promotion Period.

Likely it will not work or they can not pay the bonus interest based on this clause.

Someone share Maybank preempt this game by disallowing one to use app or ib to withdraw until 0. It always hold on to I think $5? There was a reader complain so much until forced to go down branch to close it becuz if not the bank slowly deduct $2 from the amount that cannot be withdrawn. So I think this game depend on the bank.

Almost sign up for isavvy, lucky I saw your sharing of this info. Better do esaver instead. Thanks again!

I received an email from them yesterday for Nov month promotion. But the incremental balance bonus rate is a mere 1.95%, for a grand total of 2% total after including 0.05% prevailing rate. LOL. So much for being their priority customer for over a decade.

I got an email invite for the 2.8 percent promo rate, the oct base interest and promo interest credited to my account, but the promo int rate credited is only at around 1 percent?

Not sure how they are calculating the interest for this round of promotion. Usually the promo int rate is credited in during middle of the following mth but this time they seem to credit part of it at the end of the mth (oct) and possibly the rest in the middle of the following mth (nov)

I got the invite for 2.8% too. I managed to recompute my interest, so I think this is how it is calculated

The oct bonus interest relates to the current 1.95% interest on incremental bonus applicable to all. You need to calculate the (Oct ADB minus Sep ADB) x 1.95%. ADB calculated as the summation of daily balance in the mth divide by 30 or 31.

I don't think the 2.8% for oct ADB is credited yet.

Anyone received the exclusive interest (2.8%) for Oct?
Actually I received the base interests and partial bonus interests on 31st Oct yesterday . To find out what would be your total bonus interests (est) for oct, all you have to do is use this simple formula. Hope it helps.

A: Actual Amount received as base interests.
B: total bonus interests
C: base interests rate (e.g 0.05%)
D: bonus interests rate (e.g 2.75%)

B = (A x D) / C
