Hi all, i receive sms/email for 2.0% interest pa. Oh well, not very attractive compared to what the other banks offer today.

that is not promo, that is just the regular marketing, i beleive u have received it before every 2 months when new esaver cycle starts

eSaver is what your link shows as 2% curently, those 2.2%...2.8% are invited only unless you have the email from SCB.

Why 1M? 1M is max eligable but as long as you put fresh fund to make your Oct ADP higher than your Sep ADP then the extra will earn the 2% interest, no need to be 1M. This applied to the link you shared earlier for general market.

Its says of $1M leh! Not up to $1m.

Do I qualify for the incremental balance promo (assuming promo till Dec) if I do this:

1. put in 10k for 1 Oct in esaver acc
2. Transfer 10k to jumpstart account on 1 Nov
3. Put back in to esaver on 1Dec

TDLR would it still work if I transfer to SC jumpstart and back the following month or does the amount in jumpstart affect esaver?

Likely it will not work or they can not pay the bonus interest based on this clause.

dey, why you cannot just transf out to POSB/UOB/OCBC/HSBC etc , then transf back ? So simple also need to teach.

Someone share Maybank preempt this game by disallowing one to use app or ib to withdraw until 0. It always hold on to I think $5? There was a reader complain so much until forced to go down branch to close it becuz if not the bank slowly deduct $2 from the amount that cannot be withdrawn. So I think this game depend on the bank.

I received an email from them yesterday for Nov month promotion. But the incremental balance bonus rate is a mere 1.95%, for a grand total of 2% total after including 0.05% prevailing rate. LOL. So much for being their priority customer for over a decade.

I got an email invite for the 2.8 percent promo rate, the oct base interest and promo interest credited to my account, but the promo int rate credited is only at around 1 percent?

Not sure how they are calculating the interest for this round of promotion. Usually the promo int rate is credited in during middle of the following mth but this time they seem to credit part of it at the end of the mth (oct) and possibly the rest in the middle of the following mth (nov)
