e$aver Exclusive Bonus Interest (July 2025B) Promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. This e$aver Exclusive Bonus Interest (July 2025B) Promotion (“Promotion“) is available starting from 1 July 2025 to 30 September 2025 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period“), unless otherwise extended or terminated in accordance with the terms of this Promotion. This Promotion is open to selected existing customers of Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited (“Standard Chartered” or the “Bank”), who (i) are primary account holders of e$aver, e$aver Kids! and World Partner Savings account(s), and (ii) have received communication via any mode as determined by the Bank during the Promotion Period, notifying them of the Promotion and inviting them to participate in the Promotion, subject to these terms (such communication to be referred to as the “Invitation Notice”). For the avoidance of doubt, the Invitation Notice is non-transferable and only existing customers who have received the Invitation Notice from the Bank are eligible for this Promotion. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Eligibility
  1. To qualify for this Promotion:
    1. you must have been invited to participate in the Promotion, having received the Invitation Notice from the Bank during the Promotion Period;
    2. you are an existing primary account holder of e$aver, e$aver Kids! and/or World Partner Savings account(s), or otherwise open during the Promotion Period a new e$aver, e$aver Kids! or World Partner Savings account with the Bank, of which you are the primary account holder (the aforementioned account(s) to be collectively referred to as “Eligible Account(s)” and each, an “Eligible Account”);
    3. you must deposit fresh funds of minimum S$100,000 into your Eligible Account(s), such that the end-of-day deposit balance on 31 July 2025 is at least S$100,000 higher than the end-of-day deposit balance on 30 June 2025. “Fresh funds” means funds that do not originate from any existing account with the Bank or funds that are not withdrawn and re-deposited within 30 days of the Promotion Period; and
    4. your Eligible Account(s) must be validly existing (i.e. must not be suspended, cancelled or terminated), in good standing, and conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner at all times, including the time of crediting of any Bonus Interest (as defined in Clause 4 below) to your Qualifying Account(s), as determined by the Bank in its sole and absolute discretion.
For the purposes of this Promotion, where the above requirements are satisfied, your Eligible Account(s) shall hereinafter be referred to as “Qualifying Account(s)”.
This Promotion is not valid with any other e$aver promotions. For the avoidance of doubt, any Eligible Account(s) participating in this promotion will not be eligible for any e$aver bonus interest promotion, indicated on our website as open to all Eligible Account(s) held during the Bonus Interest Earning Period.
Prevailing and Bonus Interest Rates

  1. Under this Promotion, you will be eligible to receive prevailing interest (“Prevailing Interest”) on your entire deposit balance (“Deposit Balance”) in the Qualifying Account(s), at the prevailing interest rate of 0.05% p.a.
  2. In addition to Prevailing Interest, if you meet the eligibility criteria in Clause 2 above, you will also earn bonus interest (“Bonus Interest“) of 2.35% p.a. (“Bonus Interest Rate”) on the first S$5,000,000 of the average daily balance (“ADB”) in your Qualifying Account(s), during the Promotion Period, subject to the following:
    1. The ADB in your Qualifying Account(s) is used to determine the amount of Bonus Interest you are entitled to receive during the Promotion Period;
This clause is new ..............

5. Notwithstanding Clause 4 above, if the ADB in the Qualifying Account(s) for July 2025 is higher than the ADB for May 2025, you will instead earn Bonus Interest of 2.60% p.a. on the difference between these ADBs (“Incremental Balance”). The Incremental Balance eligible for 2.60% p.a. interest shall be subject to a cap of S$2,000,000 per Qualifying Account(s).

Yes, so many versions until I also not sure what is what now :)

Btw, anyone gotten the BI for last month ?
How did they classify the "wealth holding" portion to justify for the higher BI?

The info posted above is just for info, at most 1 of the promos will apply to you. You have to check your email or banking app too see whether you have received any promo invite. You might also not have been invited at all.

from what i understand for the normal public esaver is "wealth holding" are stocks or equity bought from scb trading platform, need to hold on to those stocks to make up for wealth holding, any amount should do.

Okay, in that case I should have, as I have the SC-invest account where I kept several shares in there.

If fund is transferred from Bonus Saver, instead of Esaver, to the securities account to buy, does it still qualify?

I don't see why not. it's still bought from SC Invest. doesn't matter which account the funds are from.

In order to buy equities, you need the securities account to buy. You cant buy equities direct from the bonus saver nor esaver account

e$aver t&cs : “…….Your eligible Bonus Interest Rate is assessed based on your wealth holdings at the end of each calendar month during the promotion period. “

note: for shares, money must be transferred to Settlement a/c before you can place buy orders.

There must be some ‘balances’ (i.e. wealth holdings) showing in your Investment a/cs (eg. Funds (UT) a/c or Securities Trading a/c) at each month-end. If you are making a first-time buy, it’s better to give some time allowance – don’t buy so late exactly on eg. 31July.

Am aware need use SSA to buy. I have both Bonus saver n esaver acct so if just using $ from Bonus saver to meet BI and at the same time can get higher tier rate for esaver that will be great. thanks

SCB make it so complicated for the depositor until they can just deny you the BI. Cannot just assume, you got this share or invest in this plan, you will get the promo BI, you better confirm with B&W you are eligible from the bank.

For me I wouldn't bother, too many variables.

U can use ur BI interest divide by CR interest received in end June. That’s the multiples of 0.05%. Mine is 52x.
2.6% (BI) + 0.05% (CR). Total 2.65% for June ADB.

yes... only need a few hundred worth of equities in securities trading account - just leave it in there permanently to qualify for "wealth holding" critieria. I received public BI of 2.6% for June balance (off by a few dollars).

I only use $46 for one hundred units of SG stock and park as wealth holding
