I have two eSaver accounts — one joint account and one single-name account.

Can I simply transfer funds from the joint account to the single-name account to qualify for the eSaver fresh funds promotion?

Or do the funds need to be transferred out first (e.g. joint account → DBS → single-name account) to be considered fresh funds?

I have two eSaver accounts, both single-named account under me, the simple way will do. You need to do a test to check for your situation.

Thanks. Today called their hotline, they can't tell, asked me to check with the relationship manager. fainted.
If you call the banking hotline and expect answers for securties related questions, you won't get a straight answer. They will usually channel you to your RM or the trading desk.

Thanks for sharing.. this make life a lot easier (especially with the possible "hold" when transferring funds).
