Like I said, the app is buggy. And the cancel line option is easily accessible from the app, though I have never used it before. It would be troublesome if the app decided to glitch on that function even though I didn't trigger it.

Your question is IF you did NOT port out to other telco and also you wanted to cancel giga, well i think the number no longer belongs to you. Unless you port out to other telco then the number follow you :D

Now nice number left very few cause a lot have been taken. 8889 and 8887 series gone. 8885 and 8886 series left those not very nice number. Next might come out 8880, 8881, 8882, 8883 and 8884 which I will skip.

My giga number is 8885 series and it is not a very nice number but heck it I only use this number for 2 weeks+ only for my ICT until next Friday.

Guys, I check with u ah.

giga's talktime minimum size is 1 min rite? Meaning if I make 100 calls, even if each call is 10 seconds, will count as 100 mins rite?

Most of the telco has stop per second billing. Back to per min.

As far as I know, the traffic light telcos will do a refund of the unused portion of your subscription depending on the date u port out.

Outside of this, the MVNOs will not do a refund, so bear this in mind in future if u do decide to port out of giga or any other MVNO. So for this latter case, try to port out a few days before the billing cycle (giga requires 3 days notice before your billing cycle to terminate subscription so remember to port out before this).

I ported out on Monday night 2/11, but was still charged on the 5th (my billing time is 5th of every month around 9pm). Do I have a case to get a refund?

Giga does everything via their email or chat. Can write to them to dispute.
They did the charge to your credit card already ? I think calling the credit card centre and dispute the case easier. Probably more definite that you just make a call and get it done. My 2 cents.

I have the Giga SIM card delivered to me yesterday morning. Now my M1 line is not in service anymore. This is before I activate my Giga SIM and request to port over.

Has Giga change the porting over process now? That is, we no longer can receive the SIM earlier and hold the activation for a while?

If you choose to port in during signup, porting will start automatically after you receive the card.

Have you received the email said 'Hi hi, your giga line has been terminated' after porting out?

If so, definitely can dispute with them.

Die die must activate within 30 days of received SIM card right ?
Nope. See my previous reply:
From my previous email with their CSO, they said it is guaranteed that you can activate without problem within 30 days from delivery date. After 30 days, your line may be disrupted. The service disruption is processed in batch, so it may also possible that you can activate in the 31st day without problem. In general, the longer you delay, the greater the possibility of disruption.
