Anyone having problem signing up for a new number or porting-into Giga? I keep getting error after entering my address.

Try using desktop instead? Once a blue moon sign-up may have issue. Not urgent then move on.

Sim card came on 16th and successfully port over at 12:10am today. So far everything seems ok except for OTP Sms. Thank you Jurong640 for the advice

Should I port in my Giga on 19 or 20 Nov?

Select SIM delivery date on 20/21 and port in will be done from 21/22 onwards.

Read before in this forums that there is some database which need to be updated and it take time to be sync with each sms provider.


If the sms provider database is not updated it will kept sent the SMS to your old provider which result in sms not reaching you.

Once all in sync they will know oh u moved from Telco a to b

Some did not receive OTP sms at all.

I am on the giga plan for close to 2 months liao.

So far all the OTPs I had requested were delivered to the number successfully.

I know for starhub only certain area have 5G..(mostly in town)..

but dunno if they can differentiate between giga and normal starhub user..
