Do u guys know what is the activation process for Giga?
I'm in my last month of discounted CMlink and am thinking if it's possible to make an order for the $18 50GB plan but keep it for 3 weeks before activating.
Does the activation process start once the sim card is delivered or would it only start after I insert the SIM card into the phone?

activation immediately upon insert sim
select port in if you want to transfer number
See Giga website for YouTube video.

Silly question
Giga supports calling out like what a normal mobile plan with StarHub does right?

I got the TPG for my elderly folks and realise they cannot call out normally with TPG sim. So need to cancel. Wouldn’t want to experience this again

If you can enable Volte on your parent's phone, then they can call out like a normal phone. See below steps to take if using a Xiaomi phone:
  • You can simply dial *#*#4636#*#*
  • Choose Phone information.
  • Click " Phone Information" and Toggle VOLTE Provisioned.
  • Restart the phone and you are done.
