hi, anyone encountered issue with setting the APN? after insert sim card and setting apn to giga i could not connect to internet using mobile data. However when i tried to set to shwap it can connect to internet but unable to use as hotspot to connect and share mobile data to other device. i'm using Xiaomi MiA1 phone, when using other older model xiaomi phone is ok. The CSO also unable to resolve this issue and keep telling me i must set apn to giga. Anyone knows how to resolve? Thanks.

Did you add in the APN for your hotspot setting.

Anyway I notice giga siao siao one. Have I try using the official apn now? Maybe is working for u liao

Using IP12 and I can’t seems to activate hotspot.

APN settings all set correctly. When I turn on hotspot, my iPad cannot detect any WiFi from my phone.

For IOS you need to input the APN for hotspot. Have you checked if GIGA is enter?

Ya. Did that but just can’t seems to work

In this case u can either reach out to apple for support or perform a Network reset

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT2...hone or iPad,then tap Reset Network Settings.

Try again after each step.

  1. Check that Personal Hotspot is turned on in Settings > Personal Hotspot. If you can't find or turn on Personal Hotspot, check that your wireless carrier enabled it and that your wireless plan supports it.
  2. Restart the iPhone or iPad that provides Personal Hotspot and the other device that needs to connect to Personal Hotspot.
  3. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS.
  4. On the iPhone or iPad that provides Personal Hotspot, go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap Reset Network Settings.
If you still need help, use the steps below for help with Personal Hotspot over Wi-Fi, USB, or Bluetooth.

Hi,

I am having a nightmare of time with Giga! Really not recommend.

I have been trying to contact through their chat but it's not responsive, tried Facebook, Instagram... I ask questions then after some time it just says "It looks like you are not there! bye bye!"... What the hell seriously.

My issue: ordered a SIM 2-3 weeks back, apparently I ordered during a system bug - I received the SIM and paid 20$ but was never able to register the sim on the network. They asked me re-order a new one + port-in and I will get reimbursed.

It's now 2-3 weeks I received the 2nd SIM, it's working but I still haven't been reimbursed and port-in still not done.

This is pretty terrible customer service... How should I proceed guys - what do you think?

how long does Giga take to port a number?

eg, if my gomo last day is 3 July, which day should I sign up with giga? or I can sign up now and specify a day to start?

Just receive another 20gb free data pack from GIGA. Having problem to finish my previous month rollover.
