Recently just encountered this issue: giga sim suddenly down so can't get mobile data. They issued free replacement but that card when slotted in, showed up as not provisioned. restart phone a few times but no use.

So u Gotta get into live chat and tell them. They'll do something on their on end n ask u to restart. Then ok already.
Will try this

It’s almost 100gb data for me starting every month due to the rollover. I signed up during the 11:11 and Christmas time when they keep throwing out from data. Why is this not the best deal already?

I previously sign giga with new number from them. I heard that in the past when people try to port out they were not allowed to unless they paid for it. Is this true?

Actually do you guys ever finish data using wan? Before I can finish the month, it will snowball to accumulate next month, then with the random free. Of course I have no grumbles for freebies. Last time I have to be prudent with SH 13gb paying more even. Now i never off my data haha

Have ported out 4 new sign up numbers to date without any issues. From where did you hear that?

Previously when there were those 99xxxxxx and 88xxxxxx. Numbers I think a lot of people just sign up and port out the numbers. Then sold them at carousel. I believe giga tried to stop it. Not sure about the situation then. Then I heard some people comment on this about 1 year ago.

But now I genuinely want to port out my giga number. So was afraid need to pay premium before I'm allow to port it out.

hmm I am not Giga staff, but so far they havent done much mistakes for me in the past months, so i cannot think why i would want to leave. Yes though TPG probably has bigger value for lower price, but I already got a TPG line as secondary, so i will keep another telco/mvno as primary line.
