Is it though? If port over at sign up for giga, it will port over on delivery day which may not be suitable as most prefer to wait till end of billing period of the current plan.

Unless the current plan can pro rate and refund you if end earlier.

I think most of the Telco pro-rate leh. Mine m1 was prorated. It's like when u first signed new line some times they adjust the billing date they also prorate your first bill

Almost all mvno's don't pro-rate. like 9 out of 10 of them.

No point one. I tried all 10, probably all used up liao, or as per my theory, probably some existing accounts cannot use those codes. But I cannot be sure unless u send a confirmed unused code directly to me and not via public post, so that I can verify whether the code actually works or it is my account limitation.

current line cycle is 12 or 13th of every month. Does Giga's monthly cycle starts on the 1st of every month or 30 days from whenever you port in and activate?

I no longer have lines with giga already, but I did have giga lines before, after which I ported to other providers liao.

Currently my account has no lines. Maybe the promo codes dun let existing accounts get new $0 lines.
