nowaday telco will do selective response in FB.
Then they will ghost you after responding for PR on their FB page. 🤡
Indeed, they only made selective replies.

I was lucky my port out was done in time but I read from the comments on that page some subscribers are still facing issue with Giga blocking their port outs.

Yup, literally PR response to salvage, but fact is issue is not resolved.
Major f up, yet as usual, we have no regulatory body and laws that protect consumers, so companies can be non-chalant. 🙃

how is Zero1 compares to Giga in term of coverage and speed , thus far?

just realise that they are also giving 2GB/mth to MY for 1 year.

No harm trying, the port out might just work. Maybe Giga default algo is block 1 time or 2 times, further port outs will go through maybe.

This one I'm not sure.... my main line is still on Giga, the other line I ported to Zero1 Starter for its $7 plan. But I think SingTel network is not bad lah.

I still need VoLTE on my main line though, so only will consider porting after VoLTE is implemented across SingTel MVNOs by 31 July.

StarHub’s Giga telco services hit by glitch during system upgrading

Giga customer Daniel Chia, 64, told ST he had tried to transfer three phone numbers from Giga to alternative telcos but the process was rejected due to an ID mismatch.

Another user with the handle Amanda Lek said she had tried to contact Giga for days without a response. She said: “I’ve been trying to port out for days but Giga is not releasing the number... What am I supposed to do now? E-mail? Live Chat? No avail. It’s unfortunate that I have to leave a comment (online).”
