That's what I did, since this isn’t a spare line, so I ported over to ZYM. Their response via email was much more prompt when they just started the $10 plans. After so many months, I’m not too sure if ZYM is still giving prompt email replies.
Customer service is crap in SG.

This is perfect for your second device, powered by the same Singapore's Fastest Network as your main giga line! The gigaBuddy plan comes with 2GB local data and free rollover data forever at just $3.97/month!"

can anyone confirm if it’s 5G SA? as it’s using starhub’s infrastructure, it’d be quite useless if it’s NSA

never mind, it’s 5G SA as stated in their FAQ

“I have a 5G device but it is not in the list of giga's 5G devices. Can I still get on 5G speeds?
Your 5G device will need to have 5G Standalone (SA) capabilities to be compatible with giga's 5G network. Not all devices in the market is compatible with our 5G network, but rest assured we're working to ensure as many 5G SA enabled devices can enjoy being on giga's 5G network.”

MyRepublic 5g plans can gg liao hahahah

I read that you will need a 5G sim card which you can arrange to be delivered once you are upgraded to 5G

So everyone is going to be contacting Giga to get 5F eSim or physical Sim.

Anyway as I understand, eSim may be convenient but at least for now it may also be an inconvenience if need to change phone. As I understand, its not so simple as copying eSim profile into new phone and it will work. Needs Service Provider to make the activation on new device. Its not like physical Sim where its install and play immediately.

Competition is always good, glad SIMBA came and disrupt the market, forcing the incumbent to offer limited roaming benefits in the current market compared to the good old days.
Anyways, In-app, under "Change Plan/Add Line", but should be auto-upgraded though?
